Courtyard Long Beach Downtown, Long Beach

I had never stayed in Long Beach and I wasn't sure where I needed to stay, yet after visiting relatives at the hotel they picked at the last minute I was glad I chose the Courtyard. The room was quiet clean, and comfortable. The hotel is located in a good area, but for most attractions in Long Beach you'll need some sort of transportation. The best place I ate near the hotel was the Long Beach Cafe which is about a block away. I really didn't like the breakfast buffet at the Courtyard; in fact I can't believe they charge for it considering in my opinion it is the same type of breakfast buffet that other hotels all over this country provide for free, but even if it was free I wouldn't have liked the cheap and crappy food; it even had the same nasty little danishes that I think must come over on a slow boat from China or India that most Interstate Motels have. YUCK! I would stay here again even despite the poor breakfast I experienced.

I stayed in this hotel during the Grand Prix in Long Beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was quite large, modern and clean. Pine Ave shops and The Pike are within walking distance. High speed in-room internet access was excellent. Couldn't ask for anything more!

This is the 4th or 5th time we stay at the Courtyard in Long Beach. We love it there, we have never had any issues. It is a convinient location, I would recommend.

The staff is great and the rooms are clean.I was pleasantly suprised by the wondeful service. The staff made me feel comfortable and were very accommodating.

The room was great, but the best part of the experience was the staff. They were ALL so very nice. They said it was because THEY were treated so well by the management. Well, it shows! Well done! Our new home away from home in Long Beach!

Fresh fruit in the morming, paper to read, very clean rooms, perfect making of the bed for the evening. Front desk service was particularlly superb.
