Disgustingly Filthy!!!

At Friday afternoon check-in, tables and chairs around pool were filthy. Told them about it and they said they would tell housekeeping tomorrow. Went into room 239 (two room suite with kitchen, their highest priced room),pulled out clothes for my daughter's prom and hung them in hall storage, then left with friends. Big mistake.. When we came back around midnight and ready for bed, pulled out the sofa bed and there was so much trash under there obviously had never been cleaned, sofa bed mattress sunk so much in middle you couldn't sleep on it. Went into bedroom turned on the light-the shade was covered with red stains, the walls were dripping with grime and more red spots.Blanket covered with some type of black stain. Called front office - told me I could switch to another room-why would I think any room would be better maintained than their most expensive room. Gave me the number to Motel 6, at midnight they only had a single smoking room. Daughter somewhat slept on the short end of the sofa (not the bed) I didn't sleep. Left early morning and did go to the remodeled-immaculately clean Motel 6 (never thought I would be making that statement!)Couldn't get anyone from front office to physically check out the room, so I showed them digital pictures. When I wanted my money back and cancelled the remaining reservation. They told me they had tried to accommodate me with another room and I should have told them within fifteen minutes of check in that it was dirty so no refund! Worst customer service, worst place I have ever stayed!!!
