California Suites, San Diego

For a long time, I was planning to go on a vacation to San Diego. After browsing the net, at last, I chose California Suites Hotel. The hotel was surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and flowers and I felt at peace in its green surroundings. It was a nice budget hotel, the kind I was looking for. Good services and serene surroundings. Besides the hotel was centrally located so I didn't have to travel too far to see major attractions especially Old Town. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel.

I had limited budget to explore San Diego. I wanted to visit so many places in San Diego-nightlife in Gaslamp Quarter, liveliness of Old Town and so much. Couldn't spend much on accommodation so I chose a budget hotel. In fact, I found California Suites Hotel on the net. The good part about this hotel was that its located close to all major attractions I wanted to visit. So I saved money on commute. Breakfast was complimentary which consisted of fruits, juices and my favorite hot chocolate. So I saved money there too! And to top it all, the hotel gave a 20% discount on my 5 day stay there. So more savings! Awesome! And I could tour San Diego delightfully well because of the savings. Must say, some value for money this is!

It was a long time since I had taken a break and took my kids for a holiday to San Diego. For a 5 day stay, I reserved my room in California Suites Hotel as I was getting good discounts. Honestly I wasn't very sure how the services will be. But thankfully the staff was very friendly and responsive. In fact when my 5 year old son was suffering from stomach ache, the staff helped me get the medicines quickly. It was like a home away from home environment. My kids made friends with few of the staff members. We all enjoyed the stay thoroughly. It is a nice budget hotel with good facilities.

I was looking for a hotel in San Diego from where Old Town and Little Italy and other few attractions were nearby. As I had come to San Diego with an aim to attend two festivals – Sicilian festival in Little Italy and Cinco de Mayo which took place in Old Town. I booked my room at California Suites Hotel which was situated right in the heart of San Diego. Even San Diego International Airport was just 15 minutes drive away. So that solved my problem of commuting. It was a good budget hotel. Some services were really good like complimentary breakfast, large swimming pool, safe deposit box etc. Best was I got good discounts on my stay. So I saved that money and spent it instead on buying souvenirs from Old Town.

But I was amazed by the hospitality and friendly staff there. Services were pretty good.. Breakfast was complimentary. Icing on the cake was I got good discounts on my 5 day stay there. Who says you can't enjoy a vacation with a small budget? I managed to do so. Thanks to the discounts on my accommodation.

I had gone to San Diego in April to attend the Musica Mexicana and explore the Anza-Borego Desert State park. On a friend's recommendation, I stayed in California Suites Hotel. Must thank my friend for this. He suggested me a good hotel which was located right in the heart of San Diego so I found it quite easy to commute to the desert park and Balboa Theater where Musica Mexicana took place. Rooms in the hotel were clean, and had all the necessary items including an Internet connection. I enjoyed having delicious complementary breakfast. Well icing on the cake were the discounts which I got on my stay.

I had heard so much about the migrating gray whales that I decided to take my kids for a whale watching tour to San Diego last month. It was an awesome experience watching those dolphins and whales perform stunts. Good part of the vacation was that I decided to stay at California Suites Hotel which was located right in the heart of San Diego. Due to its convenient location, it was easy for us to commute. Rooms at the hotel were not something to fancy about. But they had all the necessary facilities and they were clean. What made our stay at the hotel nice was that the staff was friendly and supportive. It is a nice hotel with good, peaceful surroundings.

Room may have had BED BUGS!!! Planned to stay 6 nights, LEFT AFTER ONE!!! Thought I found a bargain, GOT WHAT I PAID FOR!!!!!

I had gone to San Diego with my family in the month of January. We did lots of shopping and got to watch amazing gray whales at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. On the recommendation of a friend, we had stayed at California Suites Hotel. The best part of the hotel was its ideal location. After reaching San Diego International Airport, it took us only around 15 minutes to reach our hotel. The services were good and the staff was quite hospitable. Especially with the kids, they were very patient and friendly. And yes, I forgot to mention, we got 20% off on our 5 night stay there.
