not bad for the price, poor service
By sue, 08/09/09
We reserved 3 rooms,a month in advance, arrived and they didnt have our rooms, it was 4:30 pm, the desk clerk was rude and would not look us in the eye when he spoke. They asked the names of everyone staying in the rooms, and we expected adjoining rooms, but were put on different floors. we were a group of 6 gals on a fun trip. And that made it very frustrating. The only good thing was the breakfast, good service there.

How can you go wrong for $99 ?
By jim, 10/11/08
Hotel was clean and right off the freeway. I spent 3 nights. I was there on personal business for a workshop, so I was was budget conscious. The restaurant breakfast buffet was good. Staff was friendly. I did not have a chance to have an evening meal at the hotel. It had a nice pool. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on business or for leisure.

Lots of road noise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/08
Our room was very noisy since we were adjacent to the busy 101 highway, AND the window would not close properly. Also, lots of road noise coming through the AC mounted in the wall. Although it was cool, we kept the AC fan running to drown out the road drone. The bathroom was clean, but needing some minor maintenance..toliet seat rocked, and it ran for ever after flushing. The shower curtain had some missing hangers, so water splashed out., The large screen TV was nice, but the digital reception was periodically out. There was an abandon car parked in the lot with 2 flat tires. And the restaurant while nice, was a bit pricey. For the money it was not worth it.

Four Points was great
By Pat, 12/21/07
Its 15 minutes over the Bay Bridge. Its off a freeway and has easy access. Its on Priceline and we got a room for under $100 total. Its big, over 200 rooms. Lovely dining room. Great king size bed and internet plug ins plus a 37 inch HDTV. We were shocked and very pleased. Its clean and very comfortable. We will use it again, I am sure. I have read negative reviews. We saw none of it. Service was great too. AND the best. A gas station is at the entrance to the road up to the hotel. Gas was 3.19 and it was 3.49 and higher in San Francisco. Such a good deal. Food was very good in the restaurant too. They had a buffet and it was excellent for $13.

Would definitely go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/19/07
We just spent the past two nights here and would definitely go back. While some renovations are still going on, it didn't interfere with our stay. They are finishing up the restaurant and by what we see it is going to be lovely. Our room was spotless, newly renovated, very comfortable beds and an immaculate bathroom. The housekeeper forgot to leave soap when she cleaned and we called downstairs for it and it was brought up within 5 minutes. My only complaint about the room was the pillows are too soft for me, but that is a personal preference. The service in the temporary restaurant was a little slow, but the food was delish. The best Clam Chowder I have had in a very long time. Everybody working there was polite and friendly. We felt very safe and secure. Yes, we would definitely return to this hotel.

Wish I Had A Reason To Go Back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/06
Great hilltop location. Breathtaking view if you get a room facing the freeway. Secluded, yet just opposite the Mall (walking distance). Nice neighbourhood for jogging. Breakfast was ok but the restaurant was under-patronized. Maybe it has improved by now.

Stay away from this dump
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/06
This is the worst place ever that I have ever stayed in. The rooms are so bad, the bed are very old and unconfortable. My Ipod is bigger than the TV in the room, the tiles in the bathroom have mildew and various stains and they are falling off the walls. Green faded sticky burnt carpet and bedbugs were all that I needed to see before checking out and going across the street to the Embassy Suites. STAY AWAY

Overhaul
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/05
The nicely appointed lobby belies the decrepit and downright disgusting rooms. The carpet is stained, the sheets and bedding are see-through and the mattress appears to have not been replaced in 10 years. If you close your eyes and breath in, you would swear you are in an Econo-Lodge. How the property keeps the Sheraton name is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and steer clear..Best Western is far supreme and Embassy Suites is even a better choice.

Great Hotel
By Daniel, 10/03/05
Hotel located close to city hall and shopping for you adventurous types. Excellent service, clean rooms, and a good value for government employees at $84 night. Would recommend Embassy Suites, but if not available, this is a good stay.
