Terrible place

I stayed in Days Hotel in a kitchenette unit and based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. When I arrived there was hair and shoe prints on the floor in the bathroom. When I unfolded a towel, I found a ball of long, black hair inside. The pillowcases appeared used- they had dull color and wrinkles like someone just left the bed. The silverware was rusted. The toilet got clogged twice for three days. Rooms are not isolated - you can hear noises from the street and from the rooms around. In addition there were very loud sounds coming probably from the pipes. The shuttle “service” to the SeaWorld is only one ride at 9:30 am. Bottom line is that I wouldn’t stay there again even for free.
 
 
 
 
 
extremely nice hotel

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three days . We found the hotel and all the staff wonderful. We are in our sixties ,and they had familys with small children staying there also. We had no problem with noise. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The location was great. Our son who lives in Coronado and is in the navy was getting a promotion and it only took us eight minutes from the hotel to Coronado. Also the hotel is only a couple minutes from major shopping centers and eateries, and just a few minutes from the airport. I checked out many hotels in san diego and picked this one because I liked the way the manager responded to travelers comments. didn't get what we expected

I ordered, and paid for, double queen beds. Got a queen and after two hours two cots and the towels for four we needed. They said they guarantee a room only, not what we reserved. Had trouble with the keys not working. Best thing about the place is I know not to go back.

Gave our (PAID IN FULL) room away!

This was crazy! We had a week in Annaheim & a week in SD. Paid for ALL 6 monbths IN ADVANCE. We ended up staying an extra day in Annaheim- we figured they'd rent the room to someone else the night we didn't show- that was okay! BUT... we got to the room the next day to find they gave our ENTIRE WEEK AWAY! There we stood- baby & 7 year old... NO PLACE to stay! Hotels were BOOKED! Long day, mom was crying, kids were crying & the guy at the counter was rude and could care less! The ENTIRE WEEK was PAID IN ADVANCE! WTF?? We went to another hotel wherre we were given a GREAT deal after telling them what Quality Inn (Hotel Circle) pulled on us (they said it wasn't legal & suggested we contact someone about it?) We waited 6 wks to get our $650 refund but we DID get it!

Nice city .. GREAT service

Centrally located in San Diego made it easy to visit the sites we wanted to see. Free shuttle service to Zoo and Sea World , plus the the evening drivers ( Bill & Richard) helped get us around town at night to dinner and see some sites , saved us the expense of renting a car! Front desk staff also very friendly and helped us with any questions we had about the city and helped us , along with the drivers on some neat tours to take. Rooms are nice sized , well maintained , extra pillows on the comfy beds , pool is heated and tucked in nicely behind the hotel and in front of a big hill for maximum privacy. Rates are reasonably priced ( we got a GREAT weekend rate on line) and shopping mall is real close! San Diego is a super city to visit and the DAYS Hotel offered us a very nice vacation.

Don't stay here! Roaches found!

Found FIVE cockroaches in three days! Found first one Friday crawling on wall by TV. Gross but we killed it. Next two found Saturday night in bathroom. Left on floor for the maid. That was it....moving to a new hotel in morning. Sunday morning found two small baby ones crawling around sink area, where our toothbrushes were. Out they went! I have stayed in many hotels and have NEVER found a cockroach in one. Don't stay here!

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Went to San Diego for vacation and spent 4 LONG nights here. If you like paper thin windows, drinking/partying teenagers, THIN THIN walls, explaining to two 7 years olds why the people above and to the side of us are "jumping" on beds and "moaning/yelling" with excitement, enjoy MOLD in your bathroom and not so friendly staff that doesnt like to hear about complaints then this is the place for you. When we checked in, they first tried to charge us more then our online offer. Thank god I printed our confirmation sheet! Second the towles in the room looked used and just hung back up. Some of them even had stains. The beds SUCKED and full of lumps. They talk up their shuttle service but just go to two places and have late leave times and earlier pickup times. We didnt stay in the room long other to sleep and this was painful enough!! This was one of the WORSE places I've ever stayed and I highly recommend you dont stay here.

Expensive, No Breakfast, Parking Charges and No shuttle service

This Place is definitely not recommended. 1) There is a $5 parking charge, after paying for the room. 2) The room was clean. 3) There is no free breakfast. For $91 plus tax = 100 + parking charges, you would at least expect a free breakfast. 4) They brag about their Shuttle Service. Funny thing is the shuttle is only available in morning 9.30 or 10.30 am and returns around 3/4. So if you come in the afternoon, good luck. And, you need to make reservation for shuttle. I don't expect to go to Seaworld for just 6 hrs after paying ^$60. This hotel is definitely not worth the money. There are cheaper hotels like best western just next to this one and I would recommend that. Bottom line, NOT RECOMMENDED .

Very Good Value

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend for a few concerts we were going to. Everything was excellent. It was very clean and well stocked. Everyone was very courteous, it was almost like a five-star hotel. It was very quiet and relaxing. We didn't visit the pool, but it looked very nice when we walked by it. The only complaint we had was that we had to wait 15 mintues for our second room even though we had reservations, but the management made it up to us. We would defenitely stay there again!
