not to dislike about this place, Bob and Paulette lopez we enjoyed our stay, the rooms are clean, hospatility was great, we've been coming here for over 30yrs and will keep coming to this hotel. its close to embarcadero street where all the restarunts are at and the little shops its all within walking distant, we ate breakfast at carla's behind our hotel. and then we walked around and ate at the several restarunts. i give this hotel a ten for great.

Clean, comfortable and great location!

This place is newly renovated with new carpet, new beds, flat panel tvs, new decor, granite fixtures in the bathroom, etc. The great thing about this place is that it is so close to the Embarcadero, we just walked to our favorite restaurant, Dockside. So convenient! Their breakfast wasn't too bad either and it included a waffle maker! The kids loved it. Definitely will recommend this place to our friends

Crossed off of my list to stay in MB

I travel regularly to MB and I've stayed here many times before last. This place is just your average BW, no frills. On my checkout day, I woke up and went to work. I shortly noticed bug bites all over my body. I'm pretty sure that those sheets weren't changed at all that day. Nevertheless, I'll be looking for a different hotel to stay at in MB.

Nice Place, Good Prices, Will Definitely Return

Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this Best Western hotel. Our room was a great deal, was clean, had helpful staff, and is very close to the ocean. They offer a discount for if you have AAA or AARP. The rooms are spacious, recently renovated with granite bathrooms/countertops, and included a refrigerator and other nice amenities. The breakfast was good and we had no complaints. The biggest bonus for me was that this hotel has a great location and is a a quick walk to all the restaurants near the ocean front - on a side note, the restaurants have great seafood. The place was well maintained, and had nice flowers/plants out front. If you are visiting the nearby areas (Hearst Castle, Cambria, San Luis Obispo, or Paso Robles wine country) this hotel is a very good deal and a quick drive. I would recommend this hotel and will very likely go back soon.

Great value, good location, would return without hesitation

This hotel had quick checkin and friendly staff, was clean, was a quick walk - a block away from the water, and was a much better value than the hotels that were on the shoreline. We extended our stay after staying a couple nights because we were enjoying our vacation so much. They had free wireless internet and a hottub. We would go back and would recommend to our friends.

Never again!

We started a 3 family vacation here with a problem checking in. Check-in price was $150 over the quote given 2 months before. This was never resolved beyond being told that I had "confused" the manager by asking for a tax included over-all price for 3 rooms. At the time of reservation said no confirmation email could be sent or nothing could be sent by mail. Now I see why. The no smoking was a joke. There were "smoking posts" stationed outside your room windows for the smokers, 2 feet from your window. The family with the baby had to keep their windows shut, a.c. on for 3 days. This place is one to avoid like the plague.

Friendly staff, good prices, free wireless Internet, close to ocean, good view, quick drive to Hearst Castle. Had a great experience and would return. Highly recommended.

Great Place to Visit, Wonderful Hotel

Morro Bay is a beautiful place to stay, with great scenery and lots of nice areas nearby. This hotel had a great view of Morro Rock, the bay, and the ocean - and it is about a block from great ocean side dining, specifically seafood. It was a quick drive to central coast wine country, which was exciting. The hotel itself has free breakfast and an easy to deal with staff, plus is the only hotel in the area that I could find with free wireless Internet included. The rooms were very clean and affordable. I highly recommend visiting this location and staying at this hotel.
