Best Stay in a long while...

I recently stayed at the sandman, it is one I shall not soon forget. I was looking for a place on relatively short notice on a budget. A friend recommended the place after staying a few years prior. Glad I took them up on their suggestion. The hotel has easy access to the interstate, and is about a 10 min drive from an amazing shopping center that has just about anything you may need, including Barnes and Noble, On the Border, Regal Cinemas, as well as many, many others. It's locale make navigating Sacramento easy even for those who are not savvy when it comes to city driving.
The service was excellent, they were able to cope with unexpected circumstances (Such as a storm hitting the area that flooded and nknocked out power to half the town), the staff was pleasant and hospitable. I did only find one downfall, the pathways around the building to the rooms, while nice in appearance were a little slick when wet. All in all I would say that that is not a big ding. I woul dhigly recommend this hotel to anyone who may be considering a one nighter or a weeklong vacation.
