Would never go back!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/11/09
I stayed at this hotel on a business trip back in May '09. My room was EXTREMELY HOT, A.C. was not working. I called the rooms of my co-workers & their A.C. wasn't working either. We went back to the front desk to complain which then, we were moved to different rooms only to find out that the A.C. wasn't working in those rooms either! We called the front desk & were told that they were completely booked up & didn't have anymore rooms available. Most of their rooms were occupied by employees that lived at the hotel. After about an hour of complaining to the staff, they accommodated all of us with "BOX FANS" that only circulated the hot air that was already blowing out of the broken A.C. unit. That was the most miserable night of my life!!!!! Never going back!!!!!! :(

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in....
By holly911, 5/27/08
My family travels every other weekend with our AAU basketball team. We've put our trust in the "Holiday Inn" name on most all of our trips. This was the first time we've been disappointed to say the least. Here is the list of things that went wrong. They had no record of our reservation so we were separated through out the complex. It was Memorial Day weekend and the pool was not open to the disappointment of 8 teenage girls. The room was ok as far as the comfort of the beds however the linens were questionable. The bathroom had a leaky toilet and shower with the added bonus of a hairdryer that didn't work. The iron leaked water when on steam mode as well. When we went down for breakfast it took an hour and a half to get our food! Yes...I am telling the truth, an hour and a half! Needless to say we will not return. Absolutely the worst hotel experience we've ever had.

I had no problems here. They have a roach problem, but what hotel doesn't in Russellville? The room was fine. I don't know if I'll go back though.

Dissatisfied
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/9/07
This Holiday Inn is located near many restaurants and traffic. This is good and bad. It's good as any business you need is close, but it's bad as it's in high traffic area, also known as the hood. For evening entertainment you can look out your window and watch the cops running up and down the road arresting folks in the parking lot and blowing sirens all night long. As for the amenities. This would be in my opinion slightly better than staying at Super 8 down the road. The room was clean but had a horrible smell as did the lobby (it would almost gag you in the lobby) of some kind of incense the manger kept constantly burning. You won't get a disease from staying here and the staff is very friendly but overall I'm very dissatisfied.

A little bit Noisy
By C Peterson, 10/5/07
I'm just sick of this hotel. It's not like a Holiday Inn at all. Most Holiday Inns are clean - this one isn't! Also, there is too much noise here! I'm going to Motel 6 tomorrow night. I need sleep!

Crowded, Noisy, Dusty
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/3/07
We liked that the hotel is near the interstate and close to restaurants, but the hotel was very crowded and noisy. I don't know if management is aware, but people rent rooms here and pack the rooms with like 8 people, which meant that we had to deal with noise all night! To top the noise, we found that our room was dusty. If you don't believe me, go inside the room and put your finger on the wall, tv, or table, and you will find that your finger is covered with a brown residue (dust, dirt, etc.). I don't reccomend this place. After a sleepless night, we moved to a Fairfield Inn.

not worth it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/1/07
Stayed Memorial day weekend. Room was not clean, light outside to bright, lite up room. Doesn't take reservations if you qualify for a discount, coupon, military, etc. Also, not snack machines as they have a deal with the gas station next door! Doesn't have a continental breakfast. Nor does it have coffee in lobby for customers. Not impressed with the extra money spent on this low grade motel that have should of cost only $39.00. We will not return to this one again.

An Alright Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/20/07
There were some positives and negatives about this place. As far as negatives, very noisy, expensive, and overrated. The positives were that they had rooms available and they are close to the interstate. The other hotels wwere all booked up. I wasn't impressed by the cleanliness. Dirty bed sheets. Good location though...

Not nice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/22/07
I stayed at this hotel thinking that it would be worth spending $20 more than the smaller hotels in Russellville, but I was wrong. The room was dirty and management refused to switch rooms. Additionally, there are people running around all day and night. I couldn't sleep. I am very disappointed with Holiday Inn. I should receive a refund.

Very Pleasant Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/16/06
Would certainly stay there again. The restuarant and louge were very nice and the parents were happy to spend time there while our baseball team of boys enjoyed the pool.
