Days Inn Searcy, Searcy

I was in Searcy several months ago for a funeral in the family. I had done all my planning online and booked the room in advance. Upon arrival I found that I didn't have a room after all and was placed in a substitution for the night. It had been a long, stressful day with the flight and the circumstances of my visit. They placed me in a part of the hotel under construction. The door to my room and the adjoining room would not lock. I was so tired but realized that it would not be safe to stay there under any circumstances. I called Hampton Inn where I usually stay when in the area and they held a room for me. Finally, after all the confusion and stress I was able to get in that room and get some rest about midnight. The people at Days Inn were nice but that's all I can say "nice" about the hotel.
