The Best Western Inn of Russellville is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains on National Scenic Byway 7 at Interstate 40. Scenic 7 is noted for its natural beauty, which can be seen especially in autumn as the leaves change displaying a variety of beautiful colors. The city of Russellville provides outstanding shops, restaurants and plenty of recreational activities. Russellville's nearby attractions include Lake Dardanelle State Park, Mount Nebo State Park, Petit Jean-Arkansas's First Park, Bona Dea Trail and Dardanelle Lock and Dam. You can also enjoy Mount Magazine, Arkansas' highest point, located approximately 25 miles southwest of Russellville. Arkansas Tech University is located one block from the Best Western Inn. Not bad, not good

Room was fine generally, but no microwave, no fridge, no iron, and the towels were very thin and rough. We didn't see any roaches this time, so I guess they took care of that problem. The property could use some cleaning. The room cost us around $75, which I think was a little overpriced. I liked that they're close to a restaurant though.

Below Average Hotel Room

We visit different hotels, reviewing their rooms. Here are the notes we took for our stay at Best Western of Russellville, AR: NEGATIVES: Pest Problem, Hair in Bathtub, Stained Bathroom Walls, Dirty Carpet, No Toilet Paper, Hot Water Problem, Blocked Drain, Deteriorated Toilet Seat, and Unresponsive Front Desk Clerk. POSITIVES: Towels and Linen Were Unstained, Television in working condition, Lights Working. We understand that the poor quality of this room may not represent the quality of the entire hotel.

Bad Service

Location was convenient. Bed wasn't comfortable. The towels were very thin and there were only 2 towels for 4 people. What were we supposed to do? Share? We asked for more towels, but the frontdesk guy said they don't give spare towels. Overall, the room wasn't bad, but the service was very lousy. Oh, and the bedspread was stained with ketchup or something.

Good Place

I think people reviewing this hotel are exaggerating a little. The hotel isn't as bad as they say. Roaches are normal for hotels, afterall they have hundreds of guests each week. I don't have a problem with the roaches (they're friendly - just joking). The hotel seems fine otherwise. A little unresponsive when you need towels, but that's ok, they were busy. I think this is a good hotel for $80 a night.

Not As Terrible As They Say

I think this hotel is just fine. The only problem is that you can't park your vehicle outside your room because of the way the hotel is designed, which means that you're more likely to have your vehicle broken into. I didn't experience any problem like this, but some other people in the hotel had their truck broken into. Otherwise, the room was neat. Only actual problem I experienced was that the mattress wasn't comfortable.

Not Bad, But I'll Stay at Motel 6 Next Time

I guess like everyone else, I'm just mad that these people get away with charging $75 for a room when I could get the same for less at Motel 6. The room wasn't bad overall. There was some dog hair or something on the carpet, but that wasn't a big problem because I have a dog myself. My neighbors were loud, but that wasn't the hotels fault. There was no microwave or fridge in the room even though we reserved a room that did have these amenities. The room was nice otherwise.

Certainly Not The \"Best\"

I liked the location of this hotel because it is close to the interstate and near restaurants, but the negatives outweighed the positives. The air conditioning filters were very dusty (they looked like they hadn't been cleaned in over a year). My daughter had cut herself on a piece of glass outside our door (not necessarily the hotel's fault). The bathroom was clean, but the towels were severely stained, so i wasn't sure if they were clean or not. The bed sheets also had greasy marks. I was guessing that a mechanic had stayed here prior to our arrival, as there were dirty hand marks on the wall. The beds were comfortable, but in the morning we found that a spring had pierced my wife's skin. The hotel doesn't look bad from the outside at all. In fact, the good exterior appearance is what drew us to this hotel. As they say, don't judge a book by its cover. I'm not sure if my experience here was an isolated experience or whether this hotel is just rundown. Either way, we won't be staying here again.

Bad Western

They didn't give us good service just because we're construction workers. Like we're low class or something. We asked for clean towels in the morning, but apparently they don't give service everyday. I didn't understand that...isn't this a hotel? Anyways, everyone makes mistakes, I will be sure not to stay here again. Another problem is that they have a pest problem, which they should take care of soon as possible. The manager didn't believe me until I brought 4 huge roaches to him in a ziplock bag. I won't stay here again. Other Best Westerns have been much better.

Stay Away from this Place

I didn't find this hotel to be very accomodating. There was trash in the room and the carpet seemed like it wasn't vacuumed. I should have stayed at one of the cheaper hotels from looks of things. Also, the motel is very noisy from traffic.
