Tanque Verde Ranch, Tucson

Good evening. Beautiful setting, good music, good service. Generally good time except for VERY tough steak (called shoe leather in Texas). Other food was quite good. Won't be recommending it to others.

We have had two family reunions at Tanque Verde Ranch. There is something for everyone to enjoy regardless of your age. The setting is beautiful. The nature and wildlife is plentiful. They have great nature and wildlife educational programs. The food is out of this world. Great horse riding opportunities for all level riders. Well worth the price if you enjoy the many activities they offer.

Tanque Verde Ranch is a place like none other. We have taken our kids to Disney World, on cruises and to the ocean but we keep going back to Tanque Verde. The western charm takes one back to simplier times, yet the accomodations are very up to date. Just pullng into the western dude ranch takes one away from the cares of the world. The setting looks like it is out of a movie - it is beyond charming! There is plenty do - horseback riding, tennis, hikes, swimming, moutain bike riding etc - for those who like to be active, and there is plenty of ways to relax for those who simply want to enjoy the incredible setting and surroundings. The food is delicious, the kids program is great, the wranglers are the real deal - it is simply not one's typical vacation. Tanque Verde Ranch is unique and the memories created there are the best.

On our first visit - we enjoyed it so much that we extended a few extra days. We were the new guys, everybody else there had been there multiple times. Friendly staff, friendly guests, great rooms, great food--I can't think of anything that I would change. Best vacation we have had in years! We are going back in a couple of months and won't be the "new guys" anymore.

Just returned from a week at the ranch and had a fantastic time! Bob and Rita, the nicest people you will ever meet, the wranglers and wonderful employees all made sure we had the best vacation ever! I will be back many times!
