Please do not stay here
By ,
We tried to stay at this hotel ,made a booking through choice hotels, On our arrival date the Opertations Director Patric MC Cabe was our desk klerk on arrivial. He was very very rude, yawning, telling me how tired he was, giving me the run around, left me hanging while he took care of something more importand such as talking to his friends. When it became unbearable ,we left , looking for alternate accomodation with him shouting bye bye !!!!! as he showed how proffessional he was After lodging a complaint at choice hotel group I received a letter from Patric, not to return to this hotel again ,which every reasonable and sain person will do for sure !!!!! Save youself heartburn support Williams or someone else Thanks Chris

“Patrick McCabe” worst Hotel Manager ever!!!
By ,
After staying 2 nights at the hotel and discovering there would be inclement weather the next 2 days we decided to end our scheduled 4 day vacation 2 days early. The night prior to our desired checkout we approached the Night Manager on duty and explained that due to the thunder showers we were desirous to checkout early if possible. The Manager completely understood and instructed us to check out the next day and drop off the keys before 11:00am and we would only be charged for the 2 nights we stayed. The next day we approached the front desk at 10:00am and a different Desk Clerk (who was new) was having trouble trying to figure out how to check us out on his computer system. The General Manager “Patrick McCabe” overheard the conversation came out of his office and asked what was going on? The Desk Clerk explained the situation and circumstances to a T. The General Manager then insisted that the Clerk charge us for an extra night “just because”. I explained that the Manager the prior night had no problem with us checking out early. After arguing back and forth for 10 minutes in shock how rude the Manager was, the disgust in his choice to charge us for an extra night “Just because”, his tone, and argumentative demeanor I demanded his business card and name. He hesitantly agreed after stating “we could end this right now” (I am still unsure what he meant by his statement and by what means we could end this). I stormed out of the hotel and immediately called the Choice Hotels Customer Service line. To my amazement the Customer Service Rep wasn’t any help either. She put me on hold for 15 minutes, called the hotel, spoke to Patrick McCabe, got back on the line and said there was nothing she could do to help me everything was up to the Hotel Manager. Needless to say Choice Hotels deeply disappointed my wife and me and we will not be staying at a Choice Hotel ever again. I would advise everyone contemplating the Quality Inn I-40 and I-17 in Flagstaff to stay away. On a deeper note avoid all Choice Hotels due to their appalling customer service.

Would recommend to families
By ,
For a no-frills hotel, the service here was great. The workers at the front desk were friendly, and the requested rollaway bed was already in the room when we opened our door. Though the hotel boasts no train noise, there is no escaping the train horns in the late evening. Luckily it was far enough away that turning on the fan masked the noise enough to not keep us awake. Breakfast was all cold foods, but a pretty fair variety. My kids got plenty of cereal, muffins, and juice to fill them. The pool was outdoors and heated but still kind of chilly even in July. It was clean and we still were able to take a quick swim. Unfortunately no spa. Overall, a great little hotel that I would recommend to traveling families.

would go back

Service was great, fast and efficient.Since the room has no fridge, the front desk offered to keep our drinks in a private refrigerator. Location is perfect and quiet.Breakfast has only cold items but nice variety and plenty of it. Pool is small but outdoor so it does not smell chlorine like the others.

would recommend to a friend

Hotel is very clean, staff are very nice and in a good location for someone like me travelling from Grand Canyon. They provided extra bed, cancelled one of my rooms not needed at no charge within minutes to 6.00pm. I was travelling over July 4th weekend and maybe why my price was higher.I also needed to leave early and breakfast not available till 7.00am. My only problem is that the doors are either too thin or have big spaces and could hear guests next door, they definately need to do something about this. But still a great hotel.

Excellent Stay
By ,
After driving around Flagstaff aimlessly trying to decide where to stay on our Arizona trip (there are LOADS of places to stay !) we decided upon the Quality Inn. What a really great stay, we only intended to stay for 1 night, but ended up there 3. The staff were wonderful, really friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble. The room was great (though no fridge !), breakfast selection was one of the best we had. It was also billed as no train noise, but on the last night there we were kind of kept awake by the train noise, but only 1 night out of 3, so it ain't bad. We got a good deal on the cost of the room, they knocked a few dollars off, so was great value as well. All in all I would recommend anyone to stay there.

Good Value for Sledding Trip
By ,
We came to Flag for two nights and will stay at Quality Inn again. The staff was very friendly and helpful, there was a computer in the lobby that the kids loved to use, and the free continental breakfast had a great variety and was always set up early (before 7 even though it didn't officially start until then). We enjoyed the fresh coffee and apple juice all day long. The price was great and there was no train noise at all. Great breakfast room with a nice view of the mountains.

Not bad
By ,
Nice room. large and comfortable. Internet worked and TV provided a good channel selection. The heater was a little loud and my room faced a bus maintenance facility and the buses coming in made a low frequency rumble that was anoying. Breakfast was nothing special but there was a breakfast. The room rate of $55 made this an excelent value.
