AMAZING!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/23/09
The resort is gorgeous! The restaurants, bars, pools, spa, tennis courts, golf courses and especially the rooms. The rooms were brand new (flat panel tv, walk in shower with multiple heads). Very high end finishes and all rooms have a balcony with furniture. The staff was superb.

Small dated rooms...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/08
The resort as a whole is beautiful... However, the rooms are small and very dated... For the price I was very disappointed with the rooms... The atmosphere, the amenities are all nice but the rooms are unacceptable to me...

You couldn`t ask for more!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/07
This hotel had everything. Mornings sipping coffee outside with a roaring fireplace (real wood burning), afternoon snacks by 10 beautiful pools, and amazing evening entertainment in the lobby with live bands, comfortable couches to sit in (and lots of them so there was always one available)and servers out and about to always offer you a drink. Restaurants were great. Rooms were very comfortable. We can`t wait to go back.

Something Different - Gondolas in Scottsdale
By Missing Arizona, 11/17/06
Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort at Gainey Ranch is a beautiful resort. The hotel is vast and has beautiful swimming pools (it doesn't just have more than one, but they are interconnected). Waterfalls are everywhere. There are parts of the pool that include a small beach. The hotel has a Flamenco band which includes talented Flamenco dancers. The garden is elegent with the huge saguaro cactus and other desert plants. Bond fires are set throughout the pool and garden area where people can just sit and chat and warm up on toasty desert nights. What I really enjoyed was the gondolas. The price is $10 per person but worth it. We were even serenaded to an Itallan love song by the boat driver. At night the water is so serene with the lights. To walk through the garden, sit, listen and dance to the Flamenco music is free. A good place to take out of towners.

Nice place
By Shantelle, 05/02/06
The rooms are average, even the suites seem small. The decor was dated and had a 70's feel to it (not retro, but truly "Brady"). The nicest feature at this hotel is the multi-level pool and outdoor waterfalls. If you want to ride in a Gondola...though they offer them. (I am sure it is much more fun here than in ITALY....) not.

It puts tears in my eyes, of how beautiful it was!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/06
I loved this hotel. the servicae was superb, whenever someone talks about it I start crying fwrom all the joy that i had. It is so romantic for adults, and they acually treat the children like royalty. There were realy Hopi Indians there with so many great information, my kids loved it. I would definatly recommend it, and go back there again.
