Fantastic View
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/07
My husband and I were really pleased with the hotel. We stayed on the second floor and had a beautiful mountain view. The restaurant is a little pricey; however, the food is great and well worth it. They have a cheesecake dessert that is worth every dollar. Enjoy...

Hidden Gem
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/07
We were lucky to stay at this gem of a hotel just days after the owners finished renovating the guest rooms. The new furniture was top quality, upscale western style, which was complimented perfectly by the beautiful antique Mexican tiled bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful, and their restaurant offered an intimate dining experience with excellent food with a good assorted wine and beer selection. We didn't plan to stay here, but were just passing through. We will definitely plan to return.

Great Owner
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/14/07
I loved that the owner came to our tables and made sure we were enjoying both our stay and our meal. They feature organic free range beef so the steaks and burgers there are unlike any other. It's located close to town but at the same time is set apart just enough that you see nothing but beautiful mountains, deserts and sunsets. Oh ya and the firepits are super romantic when paired with their great wine selection.

Stay elsewhere in Tombstone
By Cynthia R, 4/30/07
The desk clerk was rude. The views outside the rooms are the best part of the one night stay here. Pillows are old, toilet is loud, pipes made noise while starting the shower. Shower backed up on my husband and again on myself which was very creepy. After my shower I heard the toilet and then the noisy shower in the room next to ours so I guess we woke them. Lighting is not Adequate to put makeup on. The Coffee maker took 20 minutes to make coffee and that is no joke. No complimentary breakfast. We stayed the next night at The Tombstone Motel. It had a much larger and cleaner room, cost was less, breakfast was free and had a friendly staff.

\"Old west with a Style\"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/30/07
Met some friends from Germany who wanted to visit Tombstone--we stayed at this hotel and to tell you frankly it was a extremely pleasant experience--beautiful views -the staff is very knowledgeable not only on the town history but surrounding National Parks and sites --they will make up an itenrary for your day and also will box lunches on request at the restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant their establishment is by far the best in the area--they serve free range beef and chicken and the menu is well mixed and pretty ecclectic. worth a stay. Loved the restaurant manager Scott --he was extremely helpful and warm.

Cant wait to visit the wait staff again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/16/07
The entire hotel was wonderful!!! The friendy staff was cheeful and ready to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Ranch 22 is a great addition to the hotel, it really makes it shine..The wait staff was wonderful and they really knew the information that i was wanting to know. Cassandra is very good at keeping a room full of people smiling and having a very good time. Her smile brightens a room. If you are looking for breath taking views and wonderful food, then please visit the Lookout Lodge!!!

SAY WHAT!
By Russ, 12/14/06
I booked this through Yahoo and it claimed to have a roll-away bed available for the room I booked. When we got there, NOPE!, and we were 3 motorcyclists needing the comfort of a bed. The hotel would not live up to Yahoo's statement of the roll-away even though I had the printed receipt to show them. I slept on the floor, thank you very much. The shower was weak, then strong, then weak and from hot to cold not related to the pressure, KMA! Would not go back or use Yahoo again. Right next door was a Holiday Inn Express, DOH!!!

What Happened?
By gina, 11/7/06
My family and I, have been staying at the Best Western in Tombstone for 20 years. This is the first year back in 4 years, and they have changed so much. Breakfast was way over priced, and the menu was small. Breakfast is more then pancackes or French toast. I was really excited for the change, until I sat down, and there was not a true meal on the menu. There was nothing for small children. They need to go back to the way they were, and not compete with all the other hotels. Sometimes change is not good. I'm sorry to say, but we won't be back.
