Worse than Motel 6!

The worst Choice Hotel I have stayed in! Counter employee rude. Room not what I am used to in Choice Hotels

Good value and amenities

Place is remodeled and the rooms were clean. Lounge and restaurant are now open for lunch and dinner on property. New air conditioners and beds in the rooms. Staff is courteous and helpful. Free breakfast was nice. Indoor pool was clean and well maintained. Had stayed here in the past and it shows that the new owners (and the staff) really care about the place now.

Don't trust AAA rating

The pool is nice, although the hot tub was broken. Our room was not clean - old Capri Sun in the room and the bathroom had hair and wrappers on the floor. The beds were SCARY - very poor mattresses. This is an old motel that has been taken over by Choice Hotels.

Looks nice from outside.

What a dive. It was about 11pm when we drove up and it looked nice from outside. Once we got to our room I was not real sure why we were staying. I guess I was just that tired. Room was in disrepair. You could tell that at some time to door had been broken into. At check out I could not find the employee for 40 minutes. Come to find out she was in the back room on a personnel phone call. I have never stayed at a bad Comfort Inn until this one. And I will never stay at this one again. Take my advice… drive on.

not too bad...but not top notch either

even though the lobby says no smoking, you can smell the smoke rolling out from the lounge. some rooms are facing the pool, but majority of them are not so don't think you will have a view. the spa was out of door during our visit. Carpet are in decent shape, but I've seen plushier ones at motel 6. our bathroom's ventilation does not work... they did gave us complimentary ticket for some free breakfast, but we didn't use them so can't comment on the food.
