Nasty management, Bogus Charges to Credit Card

These people were mean and rude while we were there, and when we got back they had added $250 to our room charges. When we called they denied everything but made the charges stick on the credit card. Folks in town confirmed the bad reputation these people have. So stay away from this place.

Very angry people at front desk and maintenance. The rest of the town is very friendly.

Scandia House

Scandia House is my home away from home on business in Petersburg. Charming and friendly folk always meet the airplane and bring you to the hotel, offering also to drop you to your business location as well. The hotel is always neat and clean, although sometimes a non-smoking room can have a bit of smoke odor. The rooms are spacious, the baths functional, and the in room coffee pot is a nice touch. Generally quite at night. Continental breakfast is availalbe at Java Haus in the lobby. Nice Scandinavian ambience without being tacky. Centrally located near all businesses in downtonw Petersburg, also convenient to the harbour for tourists.

All in all, by far the best hotel in Petersburg!
