Bomar Inn, Athens

I travel all over for work - This is the NASTIEST hotel I have ever seen - between the roaches (alive or smeared on the walls), the exposed power outlets, the towels th...at dont appear to have been washed, the curtain it brings new meaning to tattered & forget about getting clean in the shower(tub bath at your own risk) - forget walking barefoot in the room, your feet would be cleaner if you stepped in cow dung - if all that is not enough, pull back the sheets, there is blood on them (it is still RED), tells me the sheets were NOT changed from last occupant - call front desk, sent man to change sheets - showed him the blood, he changed the bedding - leaves room, get a call from front desk - they dont understand why i complained - the health dept. and fire marshall should visit this place -

The service was OK, but EVERYTHING else was TERRIBLE. There was no hot water, pieces were missing from the bathroom ceiling, the bathroom walls were BLACK and filthy, the heat did not work too well either

i disagree with the last comment. i am staying there presently paying by the week. it's my brother and me they are only charging 160.00 per week. we have two computers and i needed additional furniture. Less than 10 minutes later it was delivered to my room. Yes its old but no roaches, fairly clean, and quiet.i, so far like it. Central heating and cooling AC (new units). No problems at all using the internet. Anything I need all i have to do is ask!!
