Laico Lake Victoria Hotel, Entebbe

Tried to stay there 8/14. Noise and floor vibrations from attached night club woke me up at 9:30pm. Desk clerk said she had another room but we would still have the noise. Ask her if we could get a refund and she said "yes". Once at the desk she said that since it was on a credit card a manager would have to issue the refund and there wasn't a manager there. I called today to verify that the refund was issued and manager said they couldn't issue a refund since we had used the room and employees aren't authorized to issue refunds. They aren't backing what their employee said. I'm disputing the charge with credit card company and attempting to deal with their corporate office. Don't stay there unless you like noise and don't mind employees that lie!
