Days Inn Montgomery Midtown, Montgomery

I have stayed in numerouse hotels across the country. This hotel was the worst. I arrived. Room was not cleaned. I was issued a room key. I went to lunch and came back to my room. I opened the door and someone else had been assigned the same room. I went back to the front office, and was given another room. I settled in my room. I looked over to the desk where the telephone was and there was a big cockroach crawling on the desk. My husband knocked it down and killed it. My daughter looked on the desk and there was another smaller dead roach on the desk. I was totally disgusted. Later I opened the desk to get a slip of paper to write a phone number down. There was another dead roach there. I booked my room over the 1-800 line. When they issued me another room they changed the rate. I told them I had already paid for my room and that I was not going to pay any more money. I told them That I though that I should get my money back for the terrible condition of the room. I left my name and number for the manager to call me at home. My stay was September 11, 2004. No one has contacted as of September 13, 2004. PLEASE future travlers stay away from this hotel.
