Four Points by Sheraton Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile, Chicago

The Door men were the best part of the hotel! SO helpful and nice! All the employees besides their Breakfast staff were very nice! Do not bother with their breakfast it will cost you $13 for a cold breakfast and $18 for a hot breakfast! Save your self the money and snotty help by going to starbucks around the corner. Also inquire about a 24 hour pass to ride the bus. Grocery stores, CVS's and other small markets should have them. Ask about a VIP pass into Gino's (Best pizza in chicago!) It will get you in the door quick(front desk should have them at the hotel). Bedding was very nice, bathrooms were clean, great view from window and a block from best shops ever! Love Chicago and the Four Points Sheraton!

This hotel was great for the money......got there a little bit before check in, so they upgraded us to a suite with a jacuzzi tub. the timing of this was awsome due to the fact i had just gotten back from the chiropractor the day before and was having horrible back spasms the whole trip......hotel was walking distance from everything, and i mean everything......easy to find, parking was a breeze......everything was just great......cant wait to go back to the windy city and stay here..

Though only one block off the miracle mile, this hotel seems to be situated out of the way... getting to it via shuttle from the airport was time consuming and not that cheap but convenient enough. People comfortable with taxis may have better or worse luck, and if you're traveling light the train is probably a good option - only a couple blocks from Red Line stations. I requested a room with a city view not expecting much from such a "short" hotel (8 stories) but they managed to honor my request by putting me on the top floor in one of only 2-3 rooms that seem to face downtown. The floor is reserved for those in their (free) rewards program, Starwood Preferred Guest, but I enrolled anyway to get the frequent flier miles - so enroll and request an 8th floor view of the city! Not a stunning view but better than expected. Little niceties like doormen opening the door for you, and free bottled water and wireless internet in the room were really appreciated. A refrigerator and microwave in the room allow you to save money on eating out, handy for lengthier stays (I stayed 3 nights). The bed was amazingly comfortable - I need some of those pillows for home! The hotel was spotless and the staff friendly. I stayed on a special rate which made it also the least expensive of the area options. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendliest staff people I ever saw! Free bottled water; a microwave; a big mini-fridge, and close to everything! Next door to a Starbucks and a grocery store! Just perfect!

The Four Points Sheraton is very convenient, located in the magnificent mile area and very close (within walking distance) to major shopping, great restaurants and the subway system. Our room was spacious and less cramped than higher priced rooms in nearby hotels. The service was great, and all of the employees were friendly and professional. I actually preferred this hotel to a nearby resort hotel that was much more expensive. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. We liked the hot tub and pool in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable,and our room was plenty large enough. The hotel location was perfect...only one block off the mag. mile, and the Zoo and aquarium were each within 2 miles. We will definately stay at Four Points Sheriton again!

My daughter (age 8) and I stayed for 2 days on the "American Girl" package. Excellant breakfast!! Affordable (considering the size of the city and other hotel rates) and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! Very easy walk to American Girl and tons of other shopping and restuarants. Helpful and friendly staff!!! Nice pool, jacuzzi and fitness room! Even has an open-air patio adjacent to the pool area. I will definately stay here again when I come back to Chicago!! Great breakfast too!

A very nice hotel with comfortable room and all the amenities. Service was excellent and the staff was both courteous and accomadating. The location is perfect and close to everything we wanted to see.

Four day stay with 2 teenagers. Great location, one block from Michigan Ave. Enjoyed Pizzeria Due (less than one block) and Portillo's for lunch (4 blocks down Ontario by the Rock n Roll McDonalds-great Chicago hot dogs and polish sausages). Walked to most everything: Michigan Ave shopping, Hancock Observatory (recommend the Signature Room on the 95th floor), Navy Pier, Millenium Park and the Art Institute. The Rock Bottom Brewery and the Red Line were just a couple of blocks away. No concierge but we didn't have any problems. Great doormen-always friendly and ready to help. Very comfortable beds and free wireless internet. Taxis always handy for night time outings. Highly recommend it for families.

The hotel was very nice and located just minutes away from everything. We stayed in a Jr. Suite and it was spacious and comforatable. The neutral decor and comfy pillow top beds were inviting. I will stay in this hotel the next time iI visit Chicago.
