Immaculate
We originally were booked at the Plateau level of the Grand Hyatt. The Plateau was not what we were looking for (your mileage may vary) so we spent an day touring the five-star properties in HK, considering the JW Marriott, Island Shangri-la, the Ritz, Mandarin Oriental, Landmark Mandarin, Intercontinental, and the Peninsula. The Four Seasons (which had just opened a few months earlier), was head and shoulders above the rest.
The staff were wonderful. The service was prompt, courteous without being overbearing. The food was delicious. The spa was amazing.
Particularly wonderful were the two rooftop pools and jacuzzi. The pools have a vanishing edge that gives you the impression you're going to swim directly into the Hong Kong skyline.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is a gem.
