Nice place. Good price. Great time

We stayed in Lehighton for a weekend rafting trip, and I contacted Hampton Inn b/c it was part of a package deal with Whitewater Challengers.
The hotel was located just off the highway, and it was convenient to the rafting site, restaurants, Wal-Mart, a movie theater and Jim Thorpe. So, there were plenty of options for us to consider after rafting.
There were 8 of us in 4 rooms, and we were all pleased with the accomodations. THE BEDS WERE AWESOME. It was the most restful sleep I ever had in a hotel. In fact, all of us took extra naps! I was also impressed with the staff-- very professional; much like you'd expect at a nice hotel in the big city. Plus, the complimentary breakfast was good and a real value.
Overall, Hampton Inn was a decent place to stay for a bunch of 40-year-old guys on a weekend getaway to the mountains. Not too frilly, but not rustic either. This Hampton Inn was a nice place for a good price and a great time.
