Loved It
By Ray, 10/05/09
I just got home, and needed to write a review. This hotel was very nice, clean, and quiet. The noise of other casinos is the pits. I am a cigarette smoker, and found that I could smoke by the pool. The staff is very nice, the valets are helpful, and the concierge was fantastic, with a lot of Vegas knowledge. Yes I would stay there again, and probably nowhere else in Vegas. Thanks for a peaceful stay.

My Hotel In Vegas!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/23/07
I have stayed at this hotel at least 6-8 times over the last two years. Actually I was referred by a manager at the Marriott Cliffs Resort in Dana Point, CA, my other favorite Marriott Hotel. The staff is exceptional, the bellman Anthony remembers me every time I visit. The staff are polite, yet engaging and accommodating. I enjoy the restaurant "Envy" the steaks are comparable to Maestro's, which is my favorite steak restaurant. The hotel feels clean, upscale, safe and is so enjoyable to walk into after a few hours in a Casino hotel, non smoking a total plus. I request a view off the Wynn Golf course and it provides a beautiful strip view at night as well. Everyone I have referred, love the hotel as I do. My only hesitation is once you visit, it may get to busy! :) Great place to stay!

The Best Service of any Marriott nationwide
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/07
This property has THE best service of any property in the Marriott chain. I should know. I stay in Marriott's nearly 100 nights per year and this property sets the standard. From doormen who remember your name from the first visit to the front desk staff - EVEN the bellmen join this team. FREE Parking - Close to the strip - walk to the monorail and NO SMOKING... Free internet. Best of the Best!

great retreat from the strip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/07
I would definitely stay here again. The perfect place to return to after being on the strip. A non-gaming, non smoking hotel. Service was excellent. Rooms clean and comfortable. Beds are superb. Convenience of the Monorail is few minutes walk from the front door. No hassle from the hectic traffic on the strip.

quiet hotel nearby the vegas strip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/07
Medium size, quiet hotel located just behind the Wynns, adjacent to the monorail. No slot machines, good food and friendly staff. Hertz rent-a-car in the lobby, free parking space available. Good choice for vegas trips.

It depends!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/20/07
It depends on what you want? If it's your very first time and you want to be in the middle if it all, the lights, noise, and traffic then i would say no just because it off the STRIP. Now i've been to Vegas many times and stayed at alot of hotels, i even got married at the MGM and I'm very particular about the hotels i stay, now i'm not rich but i believe in quality not qunaity. And if you want a great getaway after the partying and drinking is over and a great room (Not he biggest) but Very cozy, comfortable clean . this hotel is the one. All the sevices you'll need. More for single or couples then for large families.

Great Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/16/07
I stayed at the Renaissance Las Vegas with my family in January 2007, we are from the UK. We thought the hotel was great, tastfully decorated, rooms were spotless, beds were queen and very comfortable, great bathroom, Starbucks in the room - cant beat that! Make sure you get a room with a view looking over the City with the mountains in the background and if you can be bothered wake up and watch the sunrise over them - amazing! Staff were generally very friendly, the restaurant attached to the hotel is fantastic, its a steak place and we are all vegetarian, but they couldnt do enough for us to make us enjoy our meal, and it was super! We did have a problem with one neighbour who was playing loud music at 2am, but I called down to the front desk and they sent security up straight away and sorted it out , no problem. The only thing I will say that is negative is that the walls were maybe a bit thin as we heard stuff we would rather not! We stayed in a lot of hotels that week from LV to LA and the Renaissance was the best even after we stayed in the Marriot in LA which was awful!

An excellent place to stay
By Eric, 12/31/06
the place was clean, quiet. The breakfast meal package was an excellent deal. Don't forget their bowl of fresh fruits. Pretty much verything was good except that it was kinda off the strip and it didn't have casino inside. But we didn't care about it since we had the car and parking in other casino was spacious, convinient, and free. BTW, their internet connection was free too.

Avoid if you care about service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/06
Sound insulation is horrendous. You hear every single word the guy next door is saying. Terrible service. Breakfast comes without sugar, no hot water for the tea (2 out of 5 breakfast deliveries). After calling twice to request the hot water, it arrives 45 minutes later (service person: "I am sorry I just woke up"). Make a request for a room cleaning, find your room not cleaned by the end of the day. These are just some of the service issues that are plaguing this hotel, which does not deserve its "Renaissance" title.

A Magical Experience
This hotel was so wonderful! The people there were friendly, and the casinos weren't bad at all. I would recommend this place to anyone!
