What a Great Party!!
By Patricia, 5/21/12
My husbands surprise birthday party was at the Inn last weekend and I could not be happier! I really was able to relax and enjoy the party, and my every request was granted with a smile! I was particularly impressed that each person we met..from planner Mary Anne to Danielle who supervised the evening, to Lindsay who was a server really cared about excellence and truly aimed to please! I would not hesitate to have another party here!!!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend!!!
By Travel Fan 303, 2/13/09
We could not have had a better weekend. We are so happy with the Inn from beginning to end. We were so surprised when we showed up on Friday and saw the table set up so nicely in the dining room. It was absolutely perfect. All of our guests loved the stay--the pool, the food, the comfy beds. The staff is so incredibly accommodating. Honestly we walked in on Friday at 3 and didn't worry about a thing until we left on Sunday. I know the pictures inside and outside the Inn are going to be just beautiful, we will definitely send them when we get them. We had so much fun after the wedding in the Tavern and breakfast was absolutely delicious. That was my favorite meal of the weekend! We are going to go to mass at St. Sebastian's once a month and then come to the Inn for brunch. We would gladly recommend your services to anyone! In fact, we know someone getting married at the Wadsworth in October and we told them to do everything at the Inn. Thank you so much, I hope we have the pleasure of working with you in the future! Wedding Weekend was perfect!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/08
From the moment we arrived at the Inn the staff did everything to make our entire weekend run smoothly with quite a few pleasant surprises! Upon our arrival the manager on Duty, Bryan, made us aware of his presence and ensured us he would be available at any moment. The banquet manager, Jim, was equally caring and made sure he checked in with me to ensure our rehearsal dinner went off with out a hitch. It was so much fun to have the bar downstairs as many of our guests gathered there to start off the evening. The food was wonderful and the service was great. Everyone commented on how nice the evening was and the convenience of our guests being able to have a wonderful meal and then return to their hotel room was comforting to us after thier long journeys to Connecticut. The brunch the morning after the wedding was absolutely lovely! It was a luxurious send off to all of our guests! It was even better than I had expected, and after eating breakfast in your Armory Tavern, I knew to expect a lot-it was all delicious! The manager, Bryan, personally helped Sean and I rush to our Limo and loaded ALL of our luggage!! The staff was wonderful and I am so glad it all worked out! They definitely know how to take care of their guests.

Don't EVER use their catering
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/28/07
Our group stayed at the Inn at Middletown in December 2006. The only good aspect was the room was nice and clean. The worst part was the breakfast we had at the hotel. For $15 per person, all we got was teeny, tiny defrosted pastries and a small offering of fruit, along with a side of rude, unhelpful service. There are several nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby, with reasonable prices. Don't waste your money and go hungry using the Inn's catering.

Pleasant and quiet
By Meg, 4/29/07
The best place to be if you want to visit Middletown and Wesleyan University. Front desk/reception staff are charming and helpful. Location is superb on Main Street near all the restaurants and within walking distance from the school, a drug store, a bookstore and churches. The bathroom looks new and the room was comfortable. It's also wired (for free) like some other hotels in the U.S.

Location and Comfort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/21/06
I visit the area about 5 times a year on business and discovered this wonderful hotel when the hotel I usually stay at was sold out. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly valet that offered to park my car. My company does not allow anyone to drive the rental cars, so I parked on Main St right in front of the hotel. Couldn't be easier or cheaper because it's free after 5PM. Here are my ratings: Condition A+ Cleanliness A+ Service A+ Food A- (because I'm a bit picky) Location B+ (I drive to Meriden/Cromwell) A great place with really nice staff!

A unique option for overnight needs.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/6/06
we usually stay at Marriotts when traveling and thought we would try out the Inn at Middletown when visiting some relatives in Cromwell. We were so please! Front desk people were very friendly, our room was absolutely lovely, decorated in victorian style motif with Bath & Body works amenities. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious. They actually served real maple syrup on our grand manier french toast. We think we will be visiting our relatives more often now that we found this unique hotel.
