Adobe Nido Bed and Breakfast, Albuquerque

I was in Albuquerque for a wedding and didn't want to stay at a chain hotel and picked Adobe Nido based upon good reviews and photos online. Its a great place to stay. As you enter the courtyard, it immediately feels like a relaxing and welcoming place, much more personality than a hotel. The birds, the dartboard and the fountains all contribute to this feeling and Sarah and Rol are great hosts - friendly but not intrusive. Even though its laid back, its not like staying in someone's house. My room and the facilities were at the same level of service I'd expect from a well-managed hotel. The room was spotless, well decorated, with cable, a jacuzzi, a sauna, private outdoor seating, etc. The towels were gleaming white and they even provided bathrobes. Its perfectly placed for all the best parts of Albuquerque in a quiet North Valley neighborhood. If I'm back in Abq, I'll stay there again.

Sarah and Rol are the most lovely hosts--kind, funny, helpful --- B & B owners who set the bar for this kind of stay. From helping me acclimate to traveling alone, to providing detailed directions and recommnedations, to offer a homey, comfortable environment with the perks of great breakfast, on site sauna and jaccuzis in my room --- they can't be beat! Rol & Sarah, owners of Adobe Nido B & B, are the most gracious hosts ever found. Entering their home resembles B & B's peppered throughout Europe - homey, welcoming and inviting. Rol makes an amazing breakfast and their company and conversation is invigorating. You enter as strangers and leave (not willingly leave) as good friends for life. Adobe Nido is comfort food for the soul!
