Great Valentines Day Package!!
By ,
I stayed here 2/14/09 and had a great V-Day! This hotel was very nice. I only had a few complaints that I will put at bottom. When we arrived, the valet service was very friendly. Even though there were so many people around they were not running around frantically. They remained very professional. Check-In: Was very quick. We recieved a complimentary upgrade to an executive suite (had a living room area). The front desk was very friendly. Most of them spoke with accents. The room was very nice and had a decent view. Rose petals were laid everywhere, champagne was out and chocolate covered strawberries complimented the mood. Slow, soft music was already playing. The Bar: This is where everyone was. The bartenders were quick and friendly. In Room Dining: We had breakfast delivered to our room set up for us. (Free with our valentines day package. Other wise it would have been $52) The breakfast was delicious. Sausage, scrambled eggs, grits, and a muffin {with a tomato on the side} and a glass of orange juice and water. Breakfast filled us up. They came and removed the breakfast table when we called and told them we were done. The Club Lounge: On the 21st floor you have a relaxing lounge. You have to have accesss to the lounge. (A litte too quiet for me) We visited the lounge around 1pm and they had cold sandwich squares, salad, fresh fruit, desert, and a selection of beverages. Tips: Carry your key everywhere. You need key to access lounge, fitness center, and pool. Bring extra spending money. Cause everything is expesive. My complaints: Although I gave it 5 stars there were a few things that bothered me. At check-in I don't think the clerk knew everything thing that was included in my package. I had access to lounge but key wasn't working. He also said I would have to pay for the internet. But free internet was included in my package. I also was suppose to be on the 19-22 floor. I guess they accidently gave my room away so I was on the 5th floor. I wanted to be higher. Thats why they gave us a complimentary upgrade. When I got to room housekeeper was still in there. The problem with this is that the hotel called me a week before and asked me what time I would be arriving so that they can have the room ready. I told them 5:30 so they said it will be ready by 4:30. I arrived at 6:30 Atlanta traffic was horrible. The room was ready but the housekeeper was still in there. The mini bar was way too expensive. A mini-bag of M&Ms was $3.00 way too much. A bottle of water was like $9. Don't even open the minibar if you don't have too. If you move one thing they charge you. They charged me $20 but took it off at checkout. The lounge closed way too early. 8pm. But at least the bar stays open till 2am. Overall, I enjoyed by experience and would stay here again if I had the choice and money. : )

Do you have a hotel there?
By ,
This was the best traveling experience that I have had in a while. The service was beyond A-level. The whole atmosphere was very professional and the attendants made sure to handle all request in a very timely manner. Room service took under 30 minutes and the food was absolutely delicious. I will recommend this hotel to all of my colleagues and I cannot wait to go back!

Great location/staff
By ,
Stayed there for a meeting and some sight seeing. Room was nice with a very comfortable bed. Convenient to shopping and Marta. My only criticism of this hotel, as well as the "chain", is that they do allow small dogs. We had to move rooms because of a yappy dog.

Best Place to Stay in ATL
By ,
This is the best place to stay in Atlanta. I fell in love with this hotel the first time I stayed there, and won't stay anywhere else in ATL when I go. The staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is fabulous, you must upgrade to include breakfast, it is well worth it. The rooms are very nice. The bed is so comfortable that when I got home I went online to order the same pillows for my house. The bathroom is better than the one at my own house. It is so nice and beautiful here, I never want to leave.

Going Back This Weekend!
By ,
Our entire experience was amazing at the Intercontinental Buckhead! The staff makes each and every guest feel like royalty! My girlfriend and I went on a romantic getaway to the hotel, and although we only live about 30 min away, we cannot wait to go back! The rooms, beds, bathrooms, everything was fit for a King! We are planning a stay at the hotel again next weekend. It is an amazing hotel! I've stayed in all types of hotels, Ritz-Carlton, Marriott's, I've tried them all and the Intercontinental surpasses them all! IT IS AMAZING!

Wedding Weekend
By ,
My husband and I spent Friday and Saturday night in this hotel. From the bell caps, front desk, bartenders, waitresses, spas personnel to housekeeping personnel, everyone was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very nice, well decorated, comfortable, and clean. The deep tub, glass front shower, and marble floor made us feel very special. The bed had a feather top and loads of pillows! The air conditioning was just right. The wide window view onto Peachtree Street was very impressive. The parking deck was convenient, although they charged a $17 fee to self park. Valet parking was also available. The hotel is conviently located between the Buckhead hot spots and Lenox Mall. I would highly recomment this hotel to all! The price we paid as part of the wedding party was very resonable, and a good value for the 5 star rooms. Impressive lobby. We only ate breakfast in the hotel, and while a little pricey for the buffet, there is an IHOP across the street. Breakfast had a good selection but it wasn't anything to write home about. There is a business center here but when I stopped by to check my email I was informed that there was a $5 charge for 1 hour of computer time. I don't know about in room connections. You'll have to ask. You WILL like this hotel!

Excellent Overall Experience

Would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates/ enjoys quality, style and class. :) The room / bathroom were topnotch and very comfortable. The ICB was definitely the best value I have ever had in a hotel ($88/ni).
