Can't believe they still have smoking rooms

When I made a reservation, I asked for a non-smoking room because I read reviews saying there were smoking rooms. I was specifically told that my reservation was for a non-smoking room.
When I got to my room, I found that it was a smoking room! It smelled bad, but I couldn't be moved because the hotel was full. I had to go to Walmart and buy some Febreeze to spray down the room so my kids and I could sleep.
It's 2009 - I can't believe there are still hotels that allow indoor smoking. Most smokers realize they have to go outside to do that. Why ruin your rooms and equipment with allowing smoking inside?
