Comfort inn Toronto Airport, Mississauga

We were stuck in toronto due to volcanic ash on our way to london. We were treated so well and with comfort by all the staff and manager, which was what we needed than. They were very kind and it was good job to pick that hotel.

Good luck finding the place at night..there are no lights on the sign out front. To get to the rooms you have to walk up and then down filghts of stairs. I have never been to a place that is set out like this. I thought this hotel was a great deal. We asked about the airport shuttle.."No problem, come down to the lobby the "BUS" leaves every hour. We went down at 3am to catch the "bus". What they do NOT tell you is the "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE" Bus is a 6 seat Mini Van. There were about 25 people in the lobby catching the van. We ended up driving ourself to the airport or we would have missed our flight. The rest of the people were jumping into cabs. The front desk staff is rude. They don't understand english very well. *There is a diner that was open there and the girls there were just as sweet as can be. If you need to saty here for night before a trip....DO NOT BOTHER,,You might never get to the airport. Rooms are fine if you do not mind walking up, down and up stairs for your stay. Leave your windowns closed because the view of the back is a junk yard from hotel trash. NEVER AGAIN FOR US!!!!!!

This hotel is good value at first glance but once you get there, the story is a little different. Booked and pre-paid rooms at the beginning and end of our holiday. We often book this way as it usually saves us from a lot of hastles. Price on line was in the $90.00 range per night which I was assured included free outdoor parking since we had booked 2 nights. Not so, when we got to the hotel. We were told that this rate did not include parking and were charged $30.00 more. Had we booked one night at $125.00 +/- parking would have been included for the week. Basic math here 2x 90=180 and no parking yet 1x125=125 with parking. Hotel site does say free outdoor parking....Will we stay here again, I think not. The hotel is fine for what we want, but their policies leave a lot to be desired. We travel numerous times a year out of country and other hotels on the strip will get out business.

I stayed at this hotel because my flight was delayed. I want to tell everyone that this is a great hotel. I was upset (because of my delayed flight and because I had been in and out of airports all day) but when I arrived at the hotel 2 ladies (Rosa and Jackie) were there to greet me. They were both very kind and made my bad day not seem so bad. The room was spacious and clean and the price was excellent. I would definately stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling to the Toronto Airport.

Booked online well in advance of my stay weekend Jan 28/29. Was given the ONLY ROOM that had the bathroom sink next to the bed, so when the bathroom light was turned on a 4 foot flourescent came on over the sink waking sleeping spouse. The room itself had the restaurant exhaust fans running outside the window. Finally fed up and was given a room change at 12:240 AM into a proper hotel room that was vacant!!! Why subject anyone to poor service. The following morning after return from trade show the bed was made but towels etc. only for one. It took front desk over 1 hour to get someone to deliver clean towels for us to use. Continental breakfast- muffins, & coffe with orange slices. I'd rather pay for a real breakfast. WILL NOT BOOK ANY OTHER ECONO LODGE ANYWHERE AGAIN!!!

This hotel is a small but very cozy and personable one. Customer service is great but like all hotels there maybe little mistakes but of course it shows up more in the small hotels than the bigger one. Thier shuttle service is much better than all the other hotels on the airport strip because they are 24hrs even though it leaves on the hour you still have alot of time to get there it holds seven people when your're coming from the airport it comes on request. the continental breakfast is a basic one but atleast you get something to eat and it is buffet style. the staff are are very friendly and try to make your stay as warm and comfortable as possible. but everyone has bad days to i know i do. i have stayed at much bigger chain hotels and they have not made me feel at home like the Econo Lodge Does. THANK YOU ECONO LODGE FOR THE MOST WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE I WILL ALWAYS GIVE YOU THE BUSINESS

Even though the hotel is newly renovated, it still looks relative old and worn down. Teh hallway smelled funky. The room was clean and well stocked with towels, toilet paper, etc. Be warned...I heard everything from my neighbours upstairs...And I mean everything...So don't expect alot of privacy. Don't expect great services from staff. I requested a room away from the staircase and fire exit, but I got a room right next to one (even though there were alot of other rooms available). The free continental breakfast wasn't that great. But it's free... Another word of warning: The airport shuttle (which is actually 5-6 person mini-van) only comes once an hour. So if you're planning to get to the airport at certain time, make sure you leave on the hour (e.g. 10am, 11am, etc...) Otherwise it will cost about $16.00 for taxi services from the hotel to the airport. Overall, the hotel was decent. But I don't think I'll ever stay there again.
