My home away from home.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/16/09
My husband's job brings him to Marshall for a week at a time. I am fortunate to be able to come with him. I have met the wonderful employees here at the Hampton Inn. The employees...My Friends...have treated me as family. Today was my 32nd Anniversary. My friends, at the Hampton Inn, surprised me with a bottle of champagne, 2 rose colored glasses with hearts, and a rose. There was also a sign made up that wished me and my husband Happy Anniversary. I have never expected this. A light was left on over this so I could see it as I came in the door. This Hampton Inn has always taken good care of us. The employees always friendly, the clean rooms... Coming here is like coming back home. But to honor us in this way for our anniversary... It is truly overwhelming. I Love these people. They bend over backwards to make you feel special. They are my friends and family. I am always happy to come here. This is my home away from home. Louann Nelson

Not the best $$$ value for the area.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/24/07
I would call this a very nice utilitarian hotel. At over $100.00 a night however it is overpriced for the area and other nice hotels that are next door. The beds are nice but not upgraded, the exercise room is really lacking and minimal at best. I guess what most concerns me is that the “nicer” king rooms are all facing the highway??? Again, not a bad place if others in the area are sold out as it is clean.
