Don't Even Try

Tried to get directions out of the front desk employee, who didn't know the difference between I-90 and 19, which meant an extra 7 hours of driving.
When I called manager, he ever so courteously offered not to charge me for the night I didn't even stay there. Then when my husband told him we weren't coming, period, he threatened to charge us the entire two days.
We never even got there, but from our pre-check-in experience, I don't think we missed much.
