Horrible experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/29/11
The check in process took forever. When I got to my room I found it was only half serviced from the previous guest. I had to leave and when I returned the room service appeared complete until I looked close enough to see that the floor hadn't been vacuumed. When I turned down the bed, I found it was dirty (small particles that looked somewhat like dandruff and some darker flecks). I examined the other bed and found it usable. The bathroom mirror was streaked and the shower area was musty. The alarm clock plugged into a switched outlet so that when I turned off the bedside light, the clock went off, too. I wanted to complain when I checked out but there was no one at the desk and no one answered the bell. Overall one of the worst hospitality experiences I've ever had.

Great price, close to anything you need
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/4/09
i liked that the rooms had fridge and microwave, the parking is rright in fornt of your room and that breakfast is included. the staff were friendly but we didn't ask them any questions so i don't know how helpful they are. I did forget me phone there after i left and they sent it to me in the mail in Canada which was very nice of them. just be careful that when you book you stress to them what type of room you want. we asked for a king and we got 2 double beds. I WOULD GO BACK

Don't Even Try
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/27/06
Tried to get directions out of the front desk employee, who didn't know the difference between I-90 and 19, which meant an extra 7 hours of driving. When I called manager, he ever so courteously offered not to charge me for the night I didn't even stay there. Then when my husband told him we weren't coming, period, he threatened to charge us the entire two days. We never even got there, but from our pre-check-in experience, I don't think we missed much.

Not a pleasant experience
By Brian, 6/23/06
The owner of this establishment is rude and disrespectful. My wife and I stayed one night at this very basic hotel and the rooms smelled a little like smoke and mold. Even in our non-smoking room. At check in we informend the desk person we had two medium dogs (~40lbs each). She didn't say anything to us, and the information on the the website didn't say anthing about restrictions on pets. The next day as my wife was checking out (I was in a seminar), the owner started yelling at my wife for having pets. (Please note our dogs are well behaved and both have passed the AKC canine good citizen test...they sleep on the floor!) My wife tried to explain the situation, but the owner wouldn't let her talk. Frustrated for being treated so poorly she left rather than stand around and getting yelled at. The owner then charged my credit card for the pets without my approval! If he would have good customer service skills, I would have gladly paid the pet charge. If you want to stay at an overpriced substandard hotel with rude owners, this is the place to stay.

Clean Room - Good Value
By Tired of the BS, 5/10/06
Staff was courteous, room was newly re-decorated and clean, and the rate was very reasonable. It was clearly an older building that had seen better days, but it appeared that a good bit of effort had been expended to update the facility. I didn't try the complementary breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Overall a pleasant stay at a good value.

Stay away!
By Wanda, 4/26/06
Staff was unfriendly, carpet had water stains, not enough towels or pillows, no shampoo, centipedes and spiders in the room, tiles falling off around bathtub, no creamer or sugars for the coffee, two lamps not working. We were an hour late checking out (our fault) but staff was angry and rude about it.
