Holiday Inn Express Suites South, Grand Rapids

OMG!, LIKE I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT MY FRIENDS AND I CAUGHT THIS OLD LADY DOING. LIKE, I WENT TO ASK HER SOMETHING AND I CAUGHT HER EATING EGGS OUT OF THE PAN AND WITH HER FINGERS, THEN SHE SPIT FOOD AT ME WHEN SHE TALKED. OMG, I CAN'T BELIVE THAT THE HOTEL WOULD HAVE SOMEONE WORKING LIKE THIS. SHE EVEN COUGHED IN ALL THE FOOD. HOW GROSS!!!! OMG, THEY SHOULD FIRE HER AND GET SOMEONE CLEAN....... THE HOTEL ITSELF IS CLEAN.

Water park closes to early and opens to late in the morning for a 11:00 am check out. not cool when you plan to play with the children and check in is at 4:00. not enough time for what you pay for.

The people at this hotel are only there for one thing and that is the money. They could care less about the customer. Please spend your money at a different hotel, this hotel owner does not deserve it.

I will never visit this hotel again. I made reservations in September 2006 for a Christmas Party in December. I was quoted a price for the party when I booked it and when we arrived for the party the price had gone up $480.00! We had 20 people attend and the price per person was quoted at $10 per person and now the manager was insisting we pay $25 per person. Our family was not in a positon to fork over an additional $480 at Christmas time. We had to leave. The manager/owner of the hotel did not seem to care one bit that our party had been ruined. One of the main reasons we book our parties at a hotel is so all the kids can swim in the pool. They looked forward to this for 2 months and we had to leave the hotel. We all left with the children crying "saying why can't we swim" we carried out all the presents and all the food and the manager just looked at us. What a jerk! Talk about no Christmas spirit! I will never go back to that place!
