My wife and daughter spent a night at this hotel on March 3, 2012. It was my daughter's 12th birthday and we wanted to treat her and a few friends for her birthday. I'm not going to be hyper critical of the establishment as anyone can find problems with any hotel. But I can assure you that the other reviews on this site that praise the cleanliness of this hotel should be taken with a grain of salt. They were probably written by employees of the chain. However, our issue arose after checkout. When I reviewed my bank statement a couple of days later, I saw an extra charge for $191. I called the hotel and was told that two robes had an orange colored stain on them and we were being charged for the robes. I asked my wife about it and she told me that the only thing that could be on the robes is some pink icing from the birthday cake. The manager explained that they bagged the robes after my wife's departure and washed and dried them. I explained to the manager if the robes were ruined that I would pay to replace them but, $191 was akin to theft. The manager admitted that these (used) robes cost $25 new but would not reduce the price I was being charged. If you stay here, it is your choice. But, please be aware that they will steal from you too if given the opportunity.

Location is nice off the highway and lots of places to grab a bite to eat. But infestation of bed bugs makes all of that not worth it. I woke up with bugs crawling on me. It looked clean and I lifted the mattress to check and realized it was covered in a protector. The staff there denied my claim of bedbugs and shrugged it off as an "oh well". There are newer hotels 15-20 mins up the road. Stay there.

This hotel is easy to find, easy to get to and has fuel and eating establishments within walking distance. The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. The internet was the fastest of any hotel I have EVER stayed at. However, the air conditioner/fan quit working at about 3 am which made the room very uncomfortable and who is going to want to change rooms or call for service at that hour. The walls are so thin that I can hear the people on the other side carrying on a conversation and after the airconditioner went out, I could hear every car on the highway passing by. My room was at the end of a hallway and I could go out a door 10 feet from my room but had to walk half way down the building to get back in. If you are really tired and want a nice cheap place to spend ONE night, this is it.
