Humboldt House Bed and Breakfast, Victoria

We so enjoyed our 2 night stsay at the Homboldt House. It was quiet and romantic. The inn keeper did everything possible to make our time pleasant. The breakfasts were outstanding.

We had a wonderful stay at the Humboldt House--beautiful accommodations and personalized service. We especially loved the breakfasts--choices! And prepared perfectly. Thanks, David, for being a wonderful and very accommodating host!

Humboldt House was exactly what we needed. Our 1st anniversary and much needed R&R. David was so wonderful helping me pull off a suprise for my husband at the Inn, but helped me make special dinner reservations and wine tour (can you believe it snowed in mid April so it wsa cancelled) but even with snow, we returned to the Inn and had a very relaxing time. Breakfast was amazing and service was excellent. We will return, as we feel we have a great "find" in Humbolt House. The Vicars

We enjoyed all the Humboldt House had to offer: welcoming champagne and truffles, fresh flowers, hot tub, fireplace, drinks and desserts in the parlor...all the makings of a wonderful romantic weekend!

Since we were on our honeymoon, we chose to do the Romantic Getaway Package and stay in the Celebration Room, and we are so happy with these decisions! The room and its featurers were beautiful and romantic, breakfast was excellent, and the getaway package activities (carriage ride, in-room massages, and dinner at Camille's) were perfect. We highly recommend the Humboldt House.

The super-delivious & private breakfast. All rooms are different in style and charm. Walking distance to downtown. My wife and I took the Garden Lovers package - great value.

We absolutely LOVE the Humboldt House and Edward's Suite!! It has to be one of the most romantic spots in downtown Victoria. The Innkeeper is wonderfully helpful and makes our anniversary celebration better each year. The ingenious private method of delivering breakfast to the room, cozy bed, fireplace, and jacuzzi spa tub with the bay window are so much fun!! All this and just two blocks to the heart of the city. My husband and I give it two thumbs up!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Humboldt House. The delicious breakfast in our room, the lovely decor, the incredibly comfortable bed, the convenient location, and the wonderfully friendly and helpful staff all contributed to making our vacation a truly memorable one. (And the welcoming truffles were fabulous!) We look forward to returning every time we visit Victoria.

Staff was very accommodating, even though we had just cycled 40 km in the rain and were spattered with mud! We stayed only a day, but Karen took 2 baths in that massive tub. Very nice with bubbles, too. Hope to come back when it is sunny sometime, Nat

We found it a little difficult to find but when we called David he directed us right to the front door and was waiting for us when we arrived. The room (Celebration) was everything we expected from the website viewing and more.It was probably the most romantic evening we have had in the two years we have been together. We were made to feel like the most important guests that he had ever had staying at his place. The interior decor took our breaths away to say the least. The breakfast was absolutly fabulous and our departure with Jennifer was equally as impressive. We will surely return and began making plans to do so on our way back home on the ferry. Thanks again guys for making our little weekend gettaway a complete success. Hawa & Robin
