Much better....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/07
The place was much better this time. It was less chaotic. The staff was more pleasant and very helpful. I've stayed there for the fourth time and I can honestly say that service has improved. Your gal from Texas....

location was perfect
By pradeep, 08/10/07
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

What A Great Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/06
I loved everything about this property. Great value. Great staff. Wonderful rooms with many amenities. Unless accustomed to the Ritz Carlton, I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this hotel. Their location is a little tricky but Yahoo maps took us right to their front door with no problems at all.

CANT WAIT TO GO BACK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/06
when i stayed at this hotel last year i thought the service was great. the rooms are clean and nice, the breakfast was great and the people who work their are good at what they do. we felt very welcomed when we arrived. they have a nice view from your window where you can see the buildings in manhatten which is a lovely view. i would recommend any one to stay here and experience what i did. im looking forward to coming back some time this year. they have a mall 10mins away from the hotel where you can get a shuttle from the hotel to the mall which is very handy and free to people who stay.

Be Mindful of your credit limit.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/04/06
The service wasn't the greatest! I used my credit card and it took an act of congress, to get the credit back on my card. I think the sadest part about it was I paid cash for the entire stay. The hotel still required that a charge for incidentals be taken out. The only solace I had was the rooms were very clean! The housekeeping staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was great too for the price of the rooms, it offset the customer service. From a Native Houstonian

Hundreds of Teenagers!
By Koko, 05/27/05
I am guessing, do to the excellent value of this hotel, it is used by every high school going on any trip where rooms are needed for teenagers. They roam the halls, play on exercise equipment, carouse in the pool and hot tub (all night)and demollish the breakfast buffet all unattended by there so called chaperons. Do not stay here if you want peace and quite or need to work.

Too bad its stuck between the freeways
By Angela, 05/23/05
The staff were most welcoming. I really liked the low fat meal that we could microwave on arrival. The coffee maker was supplied with both coffee and tea and we were made to feel most welcome. The room was lovely with microwave, sink and good desk space. There was a lovely pool and it was most refreshing to swim in it. There were many school children staying there - I wish they had a separate room for their breakfast. The breakfast was great with plenty of variety and healthy foods. I just don't like to be surrounded by excited teenage girls and their teachers. The price was good for this area. One big downside - the hotel is between the New Jersey Turnpike and Rte 1/9. Trucks rattled all night. We never heard planes so the building was soundproofed but the truck noise was unbearable and I did not sleep well. If you are used to living near a freeway then maybe the noise is not a problem, but it was so unpleasant I would not stay here again - a pity because the checkin staff were good and efficient. We booked it because we were arriving late at the airport and thought it would be handy - but we ended up cancelling our 2nd night and moving to a hotel in the suburb of Summit. I would drive half an hour from the airport and get somewhere nicer to stay - I'd stay at a Springhill Suite again
