Holiday Inn Express And Suites, Winchester

We got a room here via priceline and upon learning it was a Holiday Inn we knew what to expect. The brand has never let us down. We were actually allowed to check in an hour early with no hassle, we were traveling with 2 five year olds who were hungry and tired from the trip and a cranky and hungry toddler. We managed to eat our brown bag lunch in the room and there really wasn’t a good place in the room to eat so we just kinda sat on the beds. The lobby breakfast area probably would have done okay, but with three children at that age it there is no way they would have stayed still or quiet. If you’re a parent you know what I mean. The pool was a hit, though I had to keep a close eye on the kids as it was rather deep for kids their height. The free coffee was available all day and the breakfast was actually hot!!!! As far as I’m concerned unless I’m staying budget a breakfast is to be expected now a days. A hot one with eggs and pancakes was wonderful. The t.v. was fuzzy and didn’t get any cartoon kids channels, but the kids had plenty of room to run around. It got old for me, but they liked it. I’d definitely stay again.
