A Great Value
By Alan R, 10/14/10
I enjoyed staying there. My Wife and I were visiting Denton NC for a Convention at Camp Walter Johnson. CWJ didn't have an available room for my Wheelchair so our Convention leader put us up at The Country Hearth. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. My only complaint would be the beds were a little hard. The breakfast was okay but I didn't feel like they cater to us Non-Coffee drinkers :) There is a Golden Corral next door and a restaurant inside the Hotel that opens while Golden is closed. The Waitresses were friendly as was the whole staff. I was really impressed by the fact, the lady who cleans the rooms speaks English. Overall, I was impressed and would stay again. My only change is I would get better mattresses

Must See
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/05
We recently stayed here as we were attending a wedding in lexington, nc. This hotel was great top of the line. The rooms were the some of the cleanest rooms I have seen. All of the employees were great they were helpful in all ways. They also were helpful in making us maps although they didnt have to do that it was great. The deli was of great value as were the rates for the rooms. You must stay there if you are in the area.

Pit Stop
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/04
I visit the Lexington, N.C. area several times a year and have sampled all the hotels. By far, the worst experience I've had is at the newly opened Country Hearth. When you enter the weird backroad to get to the motel, you see a huge cloth sign hanging in front of the building: We're Open! The room was okay, but nothing to rave about. The so-called deluxe complimentary breakfast is watery coffee and sugary treats you buy in a grocery store. I had to visit the emergency room of the local hospital duirng my 3-day visit but the dithery front desk woman gave me completely wrong directions. You live and you learn and i've learned that this is one place that'll never see my face again.
