POOR DESK STAFF SERVICE!
By B, 7/31/11
I stayed at the Radisson during 24-29 July. During Check-in I was given a parking pass without asking for parking or without parking being mentioned. This was fine except for one small thing: There was a $20 per day charge for parking on the premises. First of all, this is ridiculous. How can you charge someone staying in your hotel that much money to park their vehicle on your premises? How can you charge someone for something that you gave the complete impression that this was a complimentary service, failing to notify the patron that a monetary charge came with this service. This alone ruined my stay, and the refusal of the desk staff to assist me with this misunderstanding pisses me off to no end. I would not recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay away from any Radisson Hotel for the rest of my traveling life. What a joke.

Very nice. . . but skip the coffee
By yahoo_giraffe, 10/4/09
Lots of nice features: newly appointed rooms with fancy Sleep Number beds, a bar in the lobby, internet access, free airport shuttle, close to metro. But that "Complementary Coffee" actually costs $2.75 a cup. I couldn't believe it. I guess they try to make up for the low room rate any way they can.

Good Value - Convenient Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/12/09
Likes: Convenient location - Trolley shuttle picks up in front of motel, 1/2 block from a metro station, within walking distance of many stores and restaurants / restaurant food was excellent & decently priced / pool on rooftop was nice -we sat out one evening playing cards, enjoying the weather / Clean rooms w/ all needed amenities . Dislikes: They charged us $20 a day to park our car in their garage / the sleep number beds were the worst beds we've ever slept on, the air kept seeping out and it was not comfortable.

Wonderful choice of Hotel stay
By Jessica, 2/21/08
The room was in keen and absolutly exceptional condition. My Husband and I got the room with the king sized sleep number bed. Everything was nice and clean and the there was even an internet connection for my laptop. Beware Parking is $18 per day though. I got lost coming from the airport but the nice guy at the front desk was nice to direct me all the way to the hotel. There was even a small gift shop inside the hotel. Nice view of VA traffic and businesses!

If you can get another Hotel, do so
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/07
We stayed 4 days in this Hotel. This Hotel had "0" customer service. First, on the first day I we were there (my wife and I), someone came to our door, knocked and told us to be quiet that the next room was complaining of noise. All we did was let the TV run a bit high for about 5 minutes, Anyway we found it weird that they would come to the door, they could of just phoned us in the room to tell us to turn the tv down. Second incident started the first day we were there. I started to itch all over after laying on the bed. I thought it was me or that I had eaten someting and I had an allergy but it happened again the next day and also my wife had the same reaction. We had bug bites all over our bodies. During our last night of stay we complained to the front desk that we thought there were bedbugs. We requested another room, but they told us that they were all sold out. Then we requsted another room in another hotel which was denied also. The reaction from the front desk was "tough luck" you deal with it. If you can get another hotel get it. I would of paid an extra $100.00 to stay elsewhere but it was already late at night.

We'd Probably go Again
By SusanS, 9/30/07
This hotel was fairly nice. It was nice inside and a pretty good deal for the money, at least for the room itself. The parking fees for overnight parking were ridiculous -- $30/night even though the room itself was only $119/night! The restaurant was fairly expensive too and the service was only average. We ordered almost $200 in room service and only got lukewarm service, plus one of our entrees was missing so one of our party had to wait while the rest of us ate. Most of the employees were just "okay". No sense of enthusiasm for the job or the guests, which was a bit annoying but the overall experience was okay, given the fact that we were not at the hotel very much. The plus was the location. It is very close to the Metro and to Reagan National, plus our rental car company had an office right next door so it was easy to return. We'd probably go back because it was a nice hotel and in a good location at a decent price. I'll just make sure I return the rental car next door instead of paying the fees to park it while we are taking the Metro everywhere!

Great Experience at the Radisson
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/11/07
We stayed at the Radisson Hotel Reagan National Airport in Arlington in February. We thought that the rates were great, the rooms were well-kept and very clean and updated. The location is close to the metro, within walking distance of Crystal City, and it's also close to restaurants within the area. The only bad thing was that parking is $15/night, which was not told to us before arriving. It would have been nice to know this and nice to know that it's so pricey. Other than that, I'd highly recommend staying here for business or pleasure. It's conveniently close to everything.
