Pretty Good
By Texan73, 12/20/07
Pretty nice. One dismissive young woman behind the desk, but the shuttle drivers were very helpful. Good choice for hospital visits or business. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Surprise!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/07
The rooms were very clean and nice, however we arrived back to the hotel one day to find our door open (we assume the cleaning people). Although nothing was taken we were disturbed that this mistake happened. It was nice the hotel had a shuttle that runs on first come first serve basis, however it was disappointing that some guests were not so honest and down right rude - not the hotels fault. We were never told about parking fees - a big surprise as we checked out. Usually these fees, if any, are included - not here. I was told more than once to check my confirmation e-mail which I did when we got home and it does not say anything about parking fees. The hotel reversed two out of three nights. Depending on who you spoke with at the front desk it could have went either way depending on the mood. I would say more than not - "the customer is never right", however they were helpful when talking about attractions. Overall, we enjoyed Boston, but will probably choose another hotel to stay next time we visit.

The best part of our Boston trips!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/07
Due to a medical procedure my husband was a patient at Brigham Women's Children's Hospital for an entire month, during which I stayed at the Hampton Inn, since we live out of state. I found it was ideal location for my daily trips to and from the hospital. Most of the staff was very knowledgable regarding available transportation, local eating areas and churches. The daily breakfast was excellent each day and if there wasn't time to eat, a bag breakfast was available to take with me. Parking was a breeze even with construction in the area. We continue to stay at the Hampton when necessary for medical appointments and hope someday just for pleasure.

Friendly & Nice Convention Location!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/07
We were here for a convention. I booked the hotel because of the price and the shuttle service. The website said that there was shuttle service to about 3 different locations around Boston. I mapped it out and found the closest route to our destination. Little did I know... They actually took us right to the convention center --- this saved us from lots of walking or from lots of cab fare! The staff was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. The shuttle drivers were unbelievable!! They really took pride in their work and took great care with their passengers. We have stayed in Boston before at much higher priced fancy hotels and we would definatly consider staying here again. The only drawback I can think of is that there are not a lot restaurant choices in the area -- but, with the great shuttle service, that shouldn't be a problem.

Great stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/10/07
Very nice hotel with great staff! Very helpful. The shuttle was on time from the airport both ways. Our room was very nice with a very comfortable bed. We took the city tour trolley which picked us up at the hotel, but is not on the return trip schedule, we did try to get a shuttle back in the afternoon, but they were not on time, so we walked about 1.5 miles which was great for stretching our legs, but not in the best part of town, we would have taken a cab if it had been at night. This hotel is located centrally with shuttles to the airport & downtown, either way is about 10-15 minute drive. This served our stay very well. The continental breakfast was very nicely displayed, clean & well stocked. Thanks for a great stay!

great stay
By Carmine, 09/06/06
My family and I spent one night at the Hampton Inn Crosstown in Boston during the labor day weekend. We were very well greeted by the front desk staff who were friendly and eager to give us information that would make our stay enjoyable. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We found the room just the way we ordrered it with 2 double beds. We enjoyed the fact that we can leave our car parked for the day and get a shuttle to bring us to 3 strategic key points in the city complimentary from the Hotel. Tony the driver was very courteous and assured we would be picked up at the meeting spot on time. On time he was waiting for us with a Smile !! Overall just praise to give this hotel for our short stay. We pursued our trip to Portsmouth N.H the following day and stayed at the Hampton Inn in this area. Again the same friendly service and Hospitality was had. We must say that this was our first experience with the Hampton Inns and definetly not our last. Thanks again to all the staff from the Hampton Inn in both locations that made my family and I stay a enjoyable one ! C.V from Montreal

WOW!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/12/06
This hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have ever been to. The staff were very friendly. The street address may seem to be not the best neighborhood, but their shuttle can take you everywhere! Even if the location you wanted to go to wasn't on the bus schedule, they would still take you. The beds were soooo comfortable. And their breakfast was very nice!! There's also a Dunkin' Donuts next door. And they have FREE wireless internet. And their pool was very nice too. Unfortunately, the Ground Round restaurant wasn't open, which was on the property. It took a while for the shuttle to come to Logan, but that was because the person was using the Ted Williams Tunnel. But it only took 15 minutes when we got on the Sumner Tunnel, since there was less traffic. Overall, this was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. I highly recommend it for people who need to go to Children's, other hospitals, or any other place they would like to go.

great hotel!
By Lauren, 06/24/06
Unlike what I read in other reviews, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew the best ways to get to where we needed to go and made sure we had all the information that we needed. We stayed in one of the suites that had a small kitchenette. The decor of the room was soothing- nice earth and jewel toned colors. The bed was very comfortable! I didn't want to get up. The complementary breakfast was good and they provide trays for you to bring it back up to your room (since there are not enough seats when there is a full house). The only downside to the hotel is the distance from the subway (5 blocks), but they do provide free shuttle service to 2 or 3 downtown locations and the airport. We either took the subway or a taxi though, so I can't comment on how the shuttles were.

A fair stay
By solomonl, 06/06/06
Expensive, but it is Boston, the breakfast is good. Internet ad said no parking charge, I paid $22 for a day. Very clean, not much else other service, you can drink coffee all day in their lobby.
