Hotel Blonduos, Saudarkrokr

We accidentally booked the guest house instead of the actual hotel, only to find out that the 7 double rooms (i.e. 14 people) on the first floor shared only one toilet with an integrated shower. Imagine the queue in the morning! Breakfast was served in the actual hotel, about 300 metres away. Never have I experienced such a poor breakfast and service: Not enough chairs and tables for the guests who constantly had to press the obviously inexperienced staff to fill the almost always empty buffet (one kind of bread, 1 cheese, 1 ham, tomatoes, eggs, peppers & cucumbers, milk, muesli, orange drink). We stayed in youth hostels in Iceland which were much better. I cannot recommend this place at all, try hard to find something elsewhere.
