Absolutely stunning - a hidden Italian gem.
My boyfriend and I booked this hotel after deciding to spend a little more money on it after reading it's description, and there was no disappointment whatsoever. The staff were incredibly friendly, it's easy to find, extremely safe (you need about 8 keys to get back to your room), and impeccably clean. The most striking feature was the unique quality about the place. Each room was decorated differently, and while ours was the smallest of the lot, it was comfortable and simple, while still presenting luxury. Ancient wardrobes and tables, stained glass windows, and 15th century style paneling make you feel as though you've been transported into a different time. They are also very accommodating - while they serve a lovely breakfast (freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious cappuccino) in their restaurant, we left before they opened and instead found a full spread in the dining room. I can't recommend this place enough, the few extra euro are worth it to feel the comfortable privacy and unique experience offered by Casa Santangelo.
