Stadium Waldorf Apartments Hotel, Auckland

We spent 5nights at the Waldorf Stadium in Early May 2011.We I booked directly via their website on an extended stay Special which did says there was a possibility of an upgarde to a twoBedroom Apartment. All the apartments are hotel rapartments so the chances of an upgrade are pretty slim but having seen the room it was a lot more than you would expect in any UK hotel. Its a lovely place to stay! Very City one bedroom self cotained hotel apartment very contemporary and the bed was extremely comfortable. We felt the room was more than enough for two of us and the kitchenette provided - Kettle/Toaster/4Rings/Dishwasher/Cutlery/Crockery/Utensils. What more could you need!There was also an inroom laudry for our usage! The lift key took a bit of getting used to but it will only allow you access to the apartment via the lift .I felt was actually a good security measure. I would certainly stay there again although it was at the top of Mid Town and it's a hike back up if you're a bit faint hearted! highly recommended .The location was great about 400 m from a lrage 24/7 supermarket, a lot of restuarnats & coffee shops with very reasonable rate. This hotel is the baest we stayed in our international travel for quite a while and provide great value and quality

I booked my accommodation from The hotel website, I got prompt confirmation to my email and lots of additional information about the hotel. When we arrived, we had a warm welcome by the front desk staff follow with the friendly receptionist to help us to check-in. After we checked in to our one bedroom plus study apartment, the apartment was nice, spacious,clean and have a great kitchen! The bed was very comfortable .They have DVD player, kitchen facilities, Sky channels and internet service in the apartment and nice veranda for my smoking habit. Next day morning, we had a great breakfast in a near by coffe shop- Esquire. I called and ask for the late check out if possible and the friendly reservation staff offered us to have a late check out until noon for free (their normal check out is time is 11am) ! Overall the services from The Stadium staff were perfect and highly recommend to everyone !.

We stayed here for the first 4 nights during my recent business visit New Zealand. It was just what we needed after 32hours on the plane. The apartment- 1 bedroom+office was perfect; view from the balcony/sitting room windows over the city cbd. It felt like being at home. The apartment was large, comfortably furnished, well equipped and quiet. it was ideal location for walking to the shops, restaurants, tourist information and transport links- the main railway station just 500 m away . Booking via the internet 2 months before couldn't have been easier; friendly, helpful, personal emails by reply. The value for this quality and location of accommodation was great!!!

I stayed here with mypartner for 6nights and thought it was excellent choice .We paid a very good rate. The apartment was modern,with nice decor,clean, had a large comfy bed, had a full kitchen and a balcony.The staff were always nice & helpfull ,professional and were very helpful when we wanted some help, and in assisting us with booking the shuttle to Auckland airport. The Waldorf is located in a quiet street in close proximity to the main buisness & tourist of the city (5min walk) ,the railway station,the harbour which is lined with trendy restaurants/bars. A 24/7 large supermarket is across the road from the Hotel and is absolutely beautiful and provide good range of food & grocries.Great value of accommodation in a great location!

I have been relocated to Auckland from Germany for a project which requires 8-10 week work. Initally i found it quire imoossible to find reasoabnly price accommodation and stayed in a small hotel room based on daily rate od NZ$145 per night!!!.The real estate agent could not help me as their min lease period was 3-6 months which iI was not able to commit to. I have heard from a friend aboyr Waldorf Apartments in Auckland and find to my pleasnt surprise after almost a week of search that I can get a fully furnished and serviced (optional) apartment in few complexes in Auckland for a very good weekly rate and with flexbility of terminating the contract based on short notice. I moved into a 1 bedromm plus office apartment in Waldorf Stadium at weekly rate which was almost 65% of the small hotel romm I had in the city. The apartment was very upmarket,spacious, fully equipped with Telephone, very cheap internet service.full kitchen as well as laundry. It has 24 hours security which was very important to me as a female ,close to a 24/7 supermarket, restaurants,as well as on site gym and acssess to a nice pool in Scene Waldorf. It was a great find at veryy good value.The Waldorf was the only party in Auckland which I could find that has. this type of arrangement and I was very pleased in my selection!!!

What a location, what a quality and great great value for a business person. We stayed in a 1 bedroom with office apartment in Waldorf Stadium Hotel and had a great stay. Very secured,upmarket, spacious hotel apartment in a central Auckland location with all the facilities you require such as kitchen,deck internal laundry & internet service. Close to a 24/7 superstore and selection of coffee shops & restaurant.Great quality and value

I stayed with mu family 95 of us) in a large,modern 3 bedroom apartment in Waldorf Stadium Apartment hotel in Auckland. The complex is centrally located in a modern water front area of Auckland only 600 m from the railway station, queen Street retail area. There is a 24 hours a day larger supermarket and good selection of restaurants and take away outlets. Our apartment was very modern,spacious, with modern decor, laundry and kitchen and internet service.We have service which include linen and towels change twice a week. Very secured complex and very good rate

I stay in Auckland & Christchurch every month , This time I stayed in Stadium Apartments Hotel.The location was very suitable to us quite close to our Auckland offices which was the reason foe selection of this apartment hotel. I was surprise as for the rate we paid I did not expected the value and quality of accommodation we got. My 1 bedroom hotel apartment was spacious -about 70 sq.m, fully furnished ,equipped with kitchen , laundry as well as very good high speed internet. The security car parking was about 50 m from the hotel. The location is central yet the apartment are very quite ,with A/C and still you can open the windows or go the veranda to smoke. The apartment was serviced during my 4 weeks stay weekly but additional towel & linen were supplied if required. Good selection of restaurants around .Recommended

We stayed here for our first 2 nights in New Zealand and couldn't fault it in any way. We had a suite with separate bedroom entirely enclosed in glass with sliding doors, a balcony with chairs, a lounge area with sofa, a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine and tumble dryer in the bathroom. The hotel is a new build I believe and the furnishings were clearly new with no wear and tear. There is one restaurant ( Saigon) in the building and there are 2 just out the back for breakfast etc, but I imagine most people staying here will want to have dinner at the Waterfront, which is a level easy 6 minute walk from the hotel. Our room faced the city, there are rooms facing the sea There are hotels closer to the Waterfront but I imagine these would be more expensive, and as I say the walk into town is no problem.
