Poor Customer Service
By Z, 10/11/12
I liked the building and the golf course. I disliked the customer service. There was a problem with our room and it took them two days to change it. I came to Wynn to gamble and due to this room issue and the poor handling of the situation I could not gamble at all. Absolutely horrible, very disappointing and will gamble at their competitors in the near future.

Hotel staff steals
By Seth S, 7/5/12
We paid for this hotel in cash, yet they still charged my credit card. My assumption is someone at the front desk pocketed my cash and didn't give us a receipt. Now, without the receipt, my credit card company won't help me out, so I am stuck with $500+ in charges that I already paid for. Don't stay here unless you like getting robbed.

Terrible, Very rude staff
By LA Local, 2/3/12
Very long wait for check in, rude staff, rude manager, rude cocktail waitress, room service bad, loud ac fan, had to sleep with it off, tacky decor. The electric curtains and sheets were nice. That's all it has going for it. I do NOT recommend.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!
By Jennifer, 10/4/11
My expereince started off with my business account receiving 11,000 emails in a 5 day span due to my auto generated response triggering their system to respond back. I literally had to close my online business for 5 days!!!! I lost out on almost a weeks worth of pay and all they did was give me a $100 food comp. I left all that behind to check into out room and was VERY excited to be celebrating my friends graduation. I had a bottle of champaign and strawberries to be delivered to the room upon check in, and was VERY specific to the concierge to ONLY contact me because it was a supprise. Well the first thing said to her upon check in was "there is something in the room waiting for you". I still didnt say anything because she figured it was from the assistant (to whom I will be descreet for her sake) of the man who booked us our room. So we arrived to our room and it was empty. So still no biggie I gave it a hour and snuck out for ice to find a house phone in which I was told that I would have to call back because they couldnt find my order. I firmly said I would not call back nor did I want anyone calling me because it was a suprise, and that I would just kill more time in the room untill it arived. The doorbell rang and it was a gift bag with the champaign (not chilled) and no strawberries or card. I sent it away and asked that it come back correct, and once again stalled. At this point were at 2 hours in our room. Then the phone rings and my friend answers. It is the conceirge asking her about the strawberries..... SUPRISE RUINED!!!!! I specifically stated MANY times ITS A SUPRISE!!! So the doorbell once again rings and its the strawberries with no chanpaign..... now im crying the suprise is ruined, and the Wynn did less than nothing to make all of this right. I also came home to another 3465 emails from them. It has been a week and still no call from the Director of customer service that I was promised. We checked into the Cosmo the very next night and were treated like royalty, and from now on thats where all of my friends and family will stay..... 4 1/2 stars ya right!!!

Nice, but can be noisy!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/11
This place is fabulous inside! We were originally in a corner panoramic view suite which is beautiful. Very clean and updated! The only downside is the noise. If you are planning on sleeping anytime before 4am on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday night don't count on it. The music from the XS nightclub can be heard (even if you are on the top floor). After the first night we could not handle the constant thumping anymore so we switched rooms, but had to be moved to the Encore as nothing available at the Wynn. We did not get any perks for the inconvenience which I thought was in poor service. The Encore suite was a nice room although I liked the view from the Wynn better. I am disappointed that they do not warn you about the noise as you are paying a lot for the room. I would stay there again, but only Tues-Thurs. to avoid club noise.

Loved, Loved, Loved the Wynn
By Karen, 7/4/11
I booked a trip to Vegas and gave it to my Mom for Christmas. Just the two of us, mother and daughter. My mother is 75 and doesn't have a lot of money so she saved from Christmas to April for her gambling. Needless to say she didn't have a lot of money to gamble with and I booked our room through Expedia's secret deal where you don't know the hotel until after you have booked the room. So I had no research for the Wynn, no way to get feedback, good or bad. When we arrived it was totally breathtaking!! The rooms were great and the staff was totally accomodating in every way to us! They had no idea that we didn't have tons of money to spend on their hotel but yet we were treated like queens. My mother has to take arthritis shots which have to be kept refrigerated, I called down to see about a refrigerator for her, there is a charge for a fridge but they sent one up no charge for medical reasons. We signed up for the card to keep up with the amount of gambling you do and like I said my mother did not bring a lot of money for gambling, maybe $1500.00 total, we were comped 4 times for the buffet, twice for the restaurant they have at Encore (which was totally out of this world) and then when I called down the last day to see if they could comp anything off our room, he said that since I had booked through Expedia, the room was already paid for but that he would comp our two tickets to La Reve that I had put on my room charge. Unbelievable. Then to top everything off, I got deathly sick the morning we were suppose to leave and called down to get a doctor. After they got me the information for the hotel doctor, not only did they call to check on me, they sent someone up to check on me later in the day and gave me a discounted rate to stay in the hotel one more night. I probably can't afford to stay there without the help of a deal from Expedia, but they treated me and my mom like we had spent their maximun rate for a suite. If I could, I would never stay at another hotel in Vegas. Honestly it was the best trip I have ever had in Las Vegas. My mom has some wonderful memories (and so do I) and it is all because of our stay at the Wynn!!!!!

Wynn lacks customer service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/2/11
We went to golf to golf. The 2nd night, a personal item ended up missing, apparently stolen or thrown away by the maid. Hotel Management initially were extremely apologetic and indicated they would be sure to cover our loss. When we returned home, a letter followed indicating that they accept no responsibility for our loss. The item to replace was $550.00 but they refuse to pay anything towards this loss. Rather we have been told that we should have put all our valuables in the room supplied safe!! How do you put a suitcase in one of those tiny safes? Furthermore, is the staff so untrustworthy that you have to place all your personal items in the safe? I have written and called the Wynn. To date, they have not responded since their initial letter. My advice if you visit the Wynn, stay in your room if you have any personal items as they might come up missing if you dont' put them in your room supplied safe!
