A Much Better Alternative to a Hotel Stay for the same price
This was my first trip to Myrtle Beach and although I work for a hotel chain corporation, we decided to go with something that felt more like a home away from home. I must say that the Internet had limited pictures of this Condo/Villa community that were pretty nice, but the pictures did not do it justice. My friends and I stayed in a 1-bedroom condo with a sleeper couch and it was absolutely beautiful. Although I love more modern decor, it was your standard summery vacation decor with big flowers, etc.The windows were huge and let in a lot of natural light. The kitchen was just the right size and had every amenity that you could think of down to the dishes, silverware and even a wine opener. The bathroom was gorgeous with two entraces, one from the living room with an adjoining door to the master bedroom. It was also very close to Entertainment and Dining. The beach and main strip was only a 5 minute drive away, and Broadway at the Beach was even closer (1 stop light down the street). There was a Walmart Supercenter nearby which has everything you could want in both shopping, groceries and alcoholic beverages.
The only 2 things to keep in mind is that unlike hotels, they only bring fresh towels on request, and when we requested them, they didn't show up until the day we were leaving. But that wasn't that much of a problem because the units have washers & dryers. And also the sleeper sofa could have standed to have a better mattress. It seemed a little old and there was not much cushion left in it. However, aside from those two things, I loved everything about it, and it will definitely be on my top places to stay when I visit Myrtle Beach again.
