The Plantation Inn, Shreveport

Full of roaches, someone smoking crack and doing drug deals in the parking lot, tv has no buttons, so I couldn't turn it down without the remote. Remote wouldn't work so I went to take the batteries out...its filled with baby roaches. Killed aa few big ones already too. Been up almost 48 hours...would rather be up another 8 than to get in the bed and try to sleep...just smacked one off my fiance. Someone keeps tapping on my door...and afraid of my car being broken into. Would've left already but my Fiance and son needed some sleep

Drive slowly through the parking lot at around 9pm and just look around. If you're brave, get out and look for the office. Check out the swimming pool which is half-full of stagnant water and pool chairs. Enjoy the smell of sweat, stale beer, sewage, and who knows what else? This just might be the place for you. But I didn't feel safe there at all. I have a feeling these other reviews are probably from the owner or friends of the owner trying to lure unsuspecting travelers. I'd rather take my chances sleeping in my car at a rest stop than to stay at this dump.
