Wonderful Hotel
By Sherry, 04/08/08
This place is great!! It is centrally located between the river area and Beale Street and right on the trolley line. The rooms are beautifully decorated and LARGE. We totally enjoyed our stay and it was reasonably priced.

A great place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/10/07
The hotel is wonderful. Second stay here and everyhthing was just as wonderful the second time as the first time. Comfy bed, great spacious room, pleasant staff. Only concern was parking. Everything else was fabulous. Would recommend to friends on honeymoon, business trip or family vacation. I will definetly return!

Old building; good location
By TimB, 10/24/07
If you are a slave to hotel reward points (like I am), you may elect to stay here (which I did). But the hotel is old. It was clearly once a condo. The rooms are very old and, I say, creepy. My room was missing an Internet cable and ironing board / iron -- not exactly business freindly. The staff fixed both problems, of course (that is their job). I was "upgraded" to a two suite room. It was, like I said, a bit on the creep side.

We can't wait to go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/03/07
We stayed at this hotel for four days and three nights. The hotel was great. Location, location, location... close to Beale and other great attractions!!! The hotel served evening brunch..ribs! Staff was friendly and helpful. Did I mention that the hotel served an excellent breakfast each morning, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, etc! Can't wait to go back. Thanks Residence Inn!!!

Great place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/07
While visiting Memphis for the first time i stayed a another local hotel near Beale Street. It was okay if you wanted to be in the mix. I transfer to the Marriott Residence Inn and I discover my Home away from home!!! Great staff, execellent service and just an overall wonderful experience...

Weekend getaway fun
By Coach Reed's Girl, 05/31/05
The Residence Inn was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at in a long time that I would even care to make a valid effort to leave a review for it. O.K., so here is the scenario: my family and I wanted to get away for the weekend so we decided to go to Memphis, Tn. We always use the Residence Inn but some of them have not been clean (e.g., towels, bathrooms, and floor). Let me explain that I am clean freak, my father predicted that I would be walking around in a bubble wrapped in plastic now. The towels, floor, kitchen, shower, everything was spotless. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent all of the food was hot but I had an issue with the customer service from 2 of the employees but it was not just me because another guest complained about the same two people. But there were 2 guy that made up for them one told jokes that were hilarious that kept everyone entertained in the mornings and another was a tour guide aside from the ones standings on the streets in Memphis. Overall, this hotel was excellent and I would recommend anyone of all classes to come here. (excuse my grammatical errors but I am sleepy)

A+ for Residence Inn downtown Memphis
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/17/05
I must say I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I travel often and this was the first time I'd been to Memphis, TN. This was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The atmosphere was great! Very clean, staff was very nice and courteous. They went out of their way to make sure we were welcome. Lots of complimentaries to the guest such as a DVD library for movies, access to the hotel's computer (internet), game room (pool), and breakfast with a courteous staff every morning. We didn't want to leave! The suite we stayed in was very spacious and clean. Oh and the beds were very cozy! The only thing I had to get use to was the temperature controls that each room had. We had a 2 bedroom suite and my room was either too hot in or too cool but once I got the hang of it, it was alright. :~) When I come back to Memphis I will definitely have to come back to this hotel. I give it an overall A+!!

Wonderful visit!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/04
This was our first visit to Memphis and also to a Residence Inn. The hotel staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make our visit pleasant. The room was beautiful, the view from the roof breathtaking, and the hot breakfast was a welcome change from the normal bagels and coffee offered elsewhere. It's a very short walk from Beale Street and the Peabody. We recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a pleasant stay in Memphis.
