You get what you pay for.
By Joan, 2/25/12
Our first clue should have been that this motel didn't appear on the "Choice Hotels" site. It has apparently been disowned by the family. Clue number two, the is no signage with the brand logo, a completely different name. In the rooms, there are mentions of "Econo Lodge" brand. Our room looked like it had not been cleaned thoroughly for some time. We were so un-impressed that we didn't even want the free breakfast that was offered. Do your self a favor, pay the extra money and stay elsewhere. There are plenty of motels to choose from at the same exit.

Disgusting and UNSAFE!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/11
This is a DUMP. Filthy and reeks. Didn't sleep a wink because the smell was so overpowering. Smoke detectors hanging in tatters on the wall. Outlets are in disrepair and look like they could electrocute any second. Carpet is CRUNCHY. Horrible environment. Health Hazard. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN THERE.

Rude Owner & Health Hazzard
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/26/11
Smelled like rotting meat, dead bugs everywhere. The owner was rude, arrogant who did not want to refund any of the money already paid. This is no longer an Econo Lodge, it is now an Econony Lodge. Econo Lodge pulled their license. This place should be condemned and burned. No pics, the bugs carried the camera away.

Filthy and Disgusting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/10
Only 1 light worked in the entire room, probably so you couldn't see the full extent of how dirty the hotel room was. The bathroom and shower had obviously never been cleaned. The floor and beds were filthy. All other hotels were booked in Champaign for the weekend, so stuck staying at this hotel. Looking back, would rather had slept in my car. Most disgusting hotel experience I have ever had.

Never Again!
I checked in late one night, after traveling all day. I got to my room to find it was not clean, in fact, when I pulled the sheet back their was stains on them: fresh stains, I can guarantee those sheets had not been washed from the previous guest. I asked to have a new room, which I found was equally dirty. Not only did the sheets appear to not be washed, but there was crumbs on the couch! I actually asked for my money back, and didn't even stay the night!

I won't be back!
By Pat, 7/7/08
The best thing about the motel was its location, which is just off the highway. I am sorry but I can't give this motel a half of a star. The carpet smelled of mold and mildew, which made me itch the minute I walked in. If I would have slept in the room I would have needed to go to the hospital.

Best Econo Lodge I've stayed in
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/28/07
I travel A LOT and was impressed with my stay at this hotel. The price was so inexpensive I expected the worst, but I am always on a tight budget so I ran the risk. The surroundings are not visually impressive and there was the normal signs of hotel wear and tear as with a hotel of any standard, even some of the 4 star hotels I've stayed in. The staff were exceptionally helpful even printed out map quest directions to two different locations in town for me! The "free" breakfast was awesome, try the waffles if you visit! The room was decent, quiet and clean. I found out when I was checking out the hotel was under new management and is close to being completely remodeled.

no extra blankets:(
By Night Nurse, 7/23/07
I booked a room for 5 people. They only had 4 towels in the room, 3 cups, and no extra blankets. I called the front desk and they said they didn't have any extra. Guess that turned out to be a good thing because the window unit air conditioner didn't work very well. The room had a very strong mildew odor. There were no fitted sheets on the bed, so by morning, all of the sheets were off. They offer a free continental breakfast, but we decided to skip it.

You get what you pay for.
By Leonard B, 4/6/07
The location was convenient. The room was adequate for a nights stay. The people were friendly and courteous. Bathroom tub needs work, it did not hold water for soaking. The room was clean. I would stay there again.
