Comfort Hotel Hiroshima Otemachi, Hiroshima-Shi

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone out there. This hotel is so near to convenient store, bus station, mall just across the street and everything you expect when you are in the middle of one city. Not only everything you need is around you, this place offers satisfying breakfast buffet (Salad, Cereal, Bread, Muffin, Onigiri, Fruits. .. All sort of healthy breakfast meal. Drinks was tea, coffee, juice, milk. But overall, it was simple and very delicious.), 2 computers for anyone for free, wifi if I'm not wrong. They only provide things that we travelers needs, therefor, no gym or pool or jacuzzi.. from my personal opinion, those are not necesorry to me so im completely satisfy with Hotel. My mother and i stood here before for few days. It was so much more than we expected. My mother and i will definitely will come back to this hotel if we have a chance. This hotel is somewhere you will definitely feel safe and comfortable, no complication with cars and people like 5 star hotel, It's a perfectly satisfaction place.

We stayed here for four nights; there were three of us (including a ten year old) traveling so we booked a single and a double. We found this hotel more than adequate. The twin was more than adequate for our needs and even had a view of the street in front of the hotel. The included breakfast was great; the onigiri (rice balls) were great and we really appreciated no having to scramble to find breakfast in the morning. The 7-11 store is right next door so we got cokes, snacks, and bento lunches which we kept in the refirgerator which they provide. They also provide free toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and hair brushes. The location is in the downtown area away from Hiroshima Station. It is easy walking distance to Peace Park, the baseball stadium, department stores, and a mall. There are lots of restaurants in the area too. The hotel is about a half hour ride on the tram from Hiroshima Station which we took when we got there. However, with the luggage we were carrying we took a cab back which took about ten minutes and cost us about $10 which for three people was cheap. The rates we got was about $130 per night for both of the rooms, the AAA rate. We booked directly on the Choice Hotels website. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. We highly recommend it.

Stayed 3 nights from May 23 to 26, 2008. Can't beat the price. Hotel is new....room was very nice....fairly large....had 2 queen size beds( I think ) ( larger than normal twins)...very, very clean. Front service staff was excllent.. Receptionist---Yuko Fukuyama was exceptional. She spoke fairly good English and was very helpful in locating our luggage which was lost in transit from Tokyo to Hiroshima. Good location as everyone else reported. Includes continental breakfast. Would stay here again. Free internet.

I and my daughter stay at this Comfort Inn back in April of 2004 for three nights. The rooms are small, but very clean. I chose it for the cost which is a great bargain when you consider the location. You're just minutes away from Peace Park and that's walking distance. There is a street car stop right in front and just up the street is a Starbucks. I hope to return to Japan in the next couple of years and plan on staying here again. I liked the breakfest that they served it is geared more for the locals but there was plenty that I could and did eat plus what do you want for free?

I spent one night in this hotel in 2004. I would recommend it for singles or couples who are more interested in seeing the sights than spending quality time in the room.

this hotel is perfectly located nearby the Peace Museum, 2mn walking away from the downtown. It has in-room internet access (for free). The place is clean and very quiet. Rooms are small, no western TV besides CNN. If you're just looking for a cheap place in Hiroshima and don't pay much attention to the mediocre breakfast (but we've seen way worse), this hotel is a very good choice.

The Comfort Hotel in Hiroshima is very clean, very friendly, and excellently located. The facilities are limited, but for those who do not require swimming pools, gym etc. the hotel has everything you might need. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable base from which to tour Hiroshima.
