Go back every year!

Just a great resort, we go down in January from Maine and we have shorts on in 60 degree weather,(how bad can that be)? The folks are the best and eager to help out.No attitudes like you may see at other resorts.They treat you like royalty,We love the fact that the golf courses are in great shape that time of year.( I am a retired golf course superintendent) I would love to get a ocean view room one year ,we keep trying Hopefully they will change their policy.Carraba's and Bella Italia are our favorites and many other fine restaurants are right there,You cant go wrong,looking forward to this Januarys trip already!

Fun but....

This place was really nice and there were alot of fun things to do. But be careful, they may shove you in one of the two buildings in the back, in the middle of trees, about 1/4 to a half mile from the beach.Besides the false advertisement, Barony Beach Club is wonderful and the bikes are really fun. The island is great, but I would definetly request one of the front four buildings, dont let them stick you in the garden.

A Great Place to Go!

We traded via Interval International from our time share in Florida. This is our third time there. It's a great place to go. It's very clean and the staff is just superb!!! We had a leak under the kitchen sink one night and one of the staff came immediately to fix it. The front desk was always helpful with any questions we had. I have read before that others had problems but we have NEVER had a problem at the Barony Beach Club. The grounds are immaculate, the beach is nice, and the condos are spacious. I only wish we could have gotten in one of the four main buildings but I have heard that only owners stay there now. The first year we went, we were lucky enough to get in to one of those buildings and it is much more convenient to the beach. However, staying in the Gardenia building wasn't bad....just gave you more exercise. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Barksdales from Virginia

Can't Wait To Go Back

I own a time share and was lucky to get into the Barony. The setup for each room is a villa that contains a kitchen, living room and two large bedrooms. There is so much greenery all over the complex and is very peacful. The beach is beautiful and there are numerous pools, hot tubs, and barbeques. The staff could not have been more eager to please. There are three golf courses on the plantation and many more nearby. I would suggest you play off the island since the courses on the island are overplayed. I would highly recommend the Barony and would come back on my next vacation.

It's magical and so romantic

I love Barony Beach. The resort is so clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the fact that they let the resort go back to nature at night. It is peaceful and so quiet when it is time to retire for the evening. I can't wait to go back this year.

Poor Womens pay with a Rich Womens Taste

My Husband, Son and I have stayed at this resort. This was a BONUS for myself and coworkers to be able to stay here by our Boss if we had a great year at the office. I would recommend the Barony to anyone this is the nicest place we have ever stayed. While visiting the first time we decided to rent Bikes, this I recommend also, we loved it. This made us go home and purchase bikes and a bike rack to travel with. BUT now I no longer work the company I had worked for and now realize what a great incentive this was. I can only say I wish I could afford to stay at this wonderful resort on a Poor Womens pay with a Rich Womens Taste..... Thank you Marriott for the great family vacations..........

It was a Very relaxing resort with great pools and beautifull beaches, there are some superb restaruants also the staff are very helpfull, the rooms are large and very clean

Our family owns a timeshare here. It is wonderful. Whenever we do decide to trade out our options are very open because of the desirability of this location.

Great place to stay

We have time share. This is a great place. We loved it. We have tried to book for the past 2 year with no luck. Hoping for next summer. Just hard to get a week there.
