Blue Moon Gay Mens Resort, Las Vegas

Absolutely Horrible, Has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever had the misfortune to stay at. The room’s filthy, Dirty pool, Unhelpful staff and as for the owner! He needs to get over himself!

Con-No in room safe. Pro-everything else. Lover of 12+ yrs. & I spent a week, had a wonderful time everything was done just right. The staff couldn't have been nicer and so helpful for firsttimers in Las Vegas. Room was large and very comfortable (wood edging of the bed made us try new sex positions-you could get hurt!). Pool wonderful, have to chase the shade, but met new friends doing that. Very clean. I recomend renting a car (we used Fox) and getting away from the strip. Freemont was the best. We are telling all our friends to stay here. You can visit the big resorts anytime and then go back and relax at the BLUE MOON.

I visited with a couple of friends a couple of years ago. I can't wait to go back. The staff was very friendly and it wasn't to hard to get to the strip. Made some new friends that I still keep in touch with.

The Blue Moon was all I'd hoped and more. Great staff, hot men and the room was cute too. When I visit Las Vegas (again), I will be at the Blue Moon Resort (some of the hottest men I've seen working in an all male hotel/resort).

My partner of 5 years and I decided to stay at the Blue Moon in Vegas for our anniversary. We're from the Southern and very conservative part of the U.S. and excited about our first visit to an all male gay resort in Sin City. The resort is well off the beaten path. If you're not familiar with the resorts location and will be renting a car definitely invest in a GPS/navigation system. The staff (especially the owner) was polite and accomodating. The furnishings and decor tasteful and modern. The pool with waterfall feature and large hot tub was really fun and a great place to make new friends. Friday night the owner throws a great party with hot male dancers (Be warned: Drinks at the outdoor bar are kinda expensive). The bed was very comfortable with lots of extras (soaps and stuff) in the bathroom. Be cautious of the bed frame...you can bang your knees! The 4 or 5 continuous porn channels were also nice. If you're looking to play (we were not) it's definitely possible. We stayed clear of the video room and steam room! There were also men or every age-race-and look. We wished to continential breakfast was a little nicer (don't go near the glass jar of muffins) and the out of the way location were our main dislikes.

Basically the place was nice; very similar in nature to a Key West resort. However unlike Key West it is a MAJOR hassle to get to the large strip hotels. Sure, you can rent a car and drive to any particular strip hotel but you'll have to pay parking fees at every hotel/casino you visit, otherwise you are going to have to walk. During the brutal Las Vegas summer heat-stroke becomes a very real possibility.

Very comfortable beds with soft sheets, immaculate rooms, very tastefully decorated, dramatic lighting; large steam room; tasty breakfast with many choices--all laid out very attractively. Good gay drama and porn on TV. Fairly convenient location--not trapped in strip traffic. Minor negatives: some freeway noise despite double glazing in west-facing rooms; pool was not heated (made for an invigorating cool down after the spa and steam room!); windows not washed. I had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Great value for your money. The service is impecable, they have thought about every detail to make your stay pleasant with few surprises. Big room with ever thing you need. It's easy to meet people, fun in the jacuzzi and play room. They exceded my expectations.I will go back!

Likes: The rates were very reasonable, the beds were wonderful, and the continental breakfast was one of the best we've had... lots of vareity. The owner, front desk staff, and custodial crew made every effort to make our stay comfortable, provide info, etc. Dislikes: The furniture was oversized for the room we were in. It felt cramped. Also, there wasn't a table in the room or in the internet lounge where breakfast is served. The "workout" room wasn't in "working" order (but to the establishment's credit, this wasn't advertised). The 5 (!) adult TV channels and "theatre" room gave the place a bath house feel... not necessarily a bad thing, but we weren't expecting it. The pool would have been usable in Dec. if heated. It's near the strip but impossible to get to the strip w/out a cab or rental, a seedy area of town, too. It's a work in progress, and when it grows up, it might be spectacular.

GREAT PLACE TO HOOK UP ..I DID TWICE IN ONE WEEKEND. ALSO LOVED PLAYING CRAPS IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. EASY TO GET AROUND THE STRIP LOOKING FOR OTHER GAY MEN.
