Great place to relax!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/09
Absolutely nothing! Had a family trip to there to relax. If I have to put someting down for my dislike is that the elevator is a little slow but that's just whatever!

Check your bank account...!!
By BobbiH, 06/21/09
We won our trip from a local radio station and decided to pay for a second night. It was, to be fair, a pleasant stay. The contintnal breakfast was nice and we met some people from the east coast. Two person shower...fabulous... When we checked out, the very nice desk person discounted our second night because we didn't have a chance to use the free dinner coupon we won. Left the hotel on Sunday and had a nice drive home. When we were looking at our bank account later in the afternoon, we noticed that they actually charged us the $400 deposit *undisclosed, sadly enough* and when we called to state that our receipt said $150.00 we were told they can't explain what happened and "We didn't charge you $400." Well, Chase Bank says otherwise. Beware when giving them your credit card information, if this is standard business practice it is a bad one and should be reveiwed by hotel management. We won't be staying there again and will actually be posting scam alerts to as many travel websites as we can find.

Relaxing stay for a two night getaway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Suite was huge and well equipped. AAA discount made it a real bargain.

The room was like a piecce of art! Great service and food. The view was specticular! The jacuzzi in bedroom was genious. Our walk on the beach was topped off with a Bald Eagle sighting. Can't ask for more than that! We'll be back!!!!

Bargain just for the Breakfest
By claude, 05/26/06
I was on business and found the $89USD business off season rate included breakfast, before Memorial Day weekend, exceptional. Higher in season. I was expecting a breakfast buffet with the usual cold items. However, the inn offered a hot or cold selection served by (Misty) the friendly staff, two eggs or waffle with the works and assorted cereals. Room was spacious, but the hotel had odd uneven hallways, which added to its charm. Ask for the 4th floor in the plant, only has 4 rooms on the floor, although you have to negotiate small steps and a landing. The hotel was once an alcohol manufacturing plant. Microwave, refrigerator in the room, could use more accessible electrical outlets. According to Michelle, housekeeping will not make up your bed if you leave a clothing item on it, has to do with something about privacy. Overall experience excellent, I would like to go back during the season to see the activity.

Beautiful Decor, Questionable Smell
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/24/06
We loved the decor of our King fireplace/spa suite. I have to say it was stunning, beautifully done! However, the hotel must have a septic problem, as the odor prevented us from opening our slider onto our balcony. Our deck chairs were missing...when we called the desk to ask about them, we were told there weren't any chairs to spare, (although all the other balconies had chairs). We ate at Nemo's and have decided not to return there as my medium rare steak arrived as rare to the point of being raw throughout. We noticed that another patron at a nearby table was having a similar problem. The Art Mine exhibits are wonderful, and well worth a visit just to see the displays.

Old Alcohol Factory?
By JimC, 09/18/05
Yes! It's hard to believe, but true, that this used to be a wood alcohol factory. Closed for many, many years it has been completely rebuilt as a resort. Our room has a great view of Port Townsend and Indian Island. The room has a microwave, refrigerator and king bed with ornate frame. Wireless Internet is available for an extra $10 a day. Everything is fresh and new and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. However, no pool or exercise equipment. Kayak in Port Townsend instead.

Memories of Europe
By Sherpa, 07/22/05
Interior Funky? Yes. It has the same feel as many of the three and four star Hotels in Europe we've stayed at. Nemo's is set up like a European Restaurant, including many wonderful food choices that we had not been able to partake in since returning from Italy. The Gnochi is excellent, and the Calamari was cooked to perfection. It's a super deal if you can get one of the specials they offer, especially during the 'off season'. My wife and I were able to get a King size in a room with a view, Dinner and Breakfast included, for only $150. And our daughter (under the age of two) was free. We brought our own travel crib to forgo the crib charge, but they did have some available if you wish to pack light. It was a nice two day, one night get away that can help to recharge your batteries. The value is not as great when you're trying for two or more nights, but if you're local, we thought it was wonderful!

A great find!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/15/04
The Inn was a little hard to find. It is located on the Olympic Peninsula off the beaten path. It is right on the water (Port Townsend Bay) and was once an Old Alcohol Plant! It was still in a state of transformation (the interior and exterior are being renovated) and I was a little scared from the look of the exterior but once inside it was wonderful! The restaurant, Nemo's is exceptional! The chef is definitley world class. The rooms are uniquely decorated and a little funky but definitely comfortable.
I recommend this place to anyone. The Inn is very affordable.
